Taylor Swift fan reveals what singer did after stopping security from harassing them
Taylor Swift performs 'Bad Blood' as part of her Eras Tour set, and clearly had actual bad blood with a security guard at one of her shows who she told off in defence of one her fans. The said-fan has since made a TikTok to share her perspective on what happened. In a number of viral videos that are circulating around TikTok, the popstar was performing the '1989' track during her show at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia where she gave the telling off mid-performance. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter As she sang to the audience on one side of the stage, the 33-year-old began to look concerned as she told a security guard: "She's fine!" before going into the chorus. But clearly, Swift was unhappy with whatever was going on as she stopped singing and shouted: "She wasn't doing anything!" Swift then begins to sing again and was about to walk away but instead still wasn't satisfied with the situation as she walked forward again, stopped singing and yelled "Hey!" In one viral video (9.6m views) by Briana Layfield (@brilayfield) who captured the interaction she wrote in the caption: "Hey @Taylor Swift THANK YOU from all of us on the floor for yelling at that security guard. He was a pain in the a** the entire night and the fact that this happened during #badblood made it even better." @brilayfield hey @Taylor Swift THANK YOU from all of us on the floor for yelling at that security guard. he was a pain in the ass the entire night and the fact that this happened during #badblood made it even better ? PS show was PHENOMENAL ?? Meanwhile, a woman who claims to be the fan that Swift defended has since revealed exactly what happened and shared that she and her friends received free tickets to another concert. Kelly Inglis (@kellyingliskelly28) in a video posted on her friend Caitlin Gabell's account (@caityg33caityg33) summarised what happened, which now has over 6.2m views. "Okay, I was the girl from that Taylor talked to last night," she began. @caityg33 #stitch with @Sonya (Eras 4/29) Its me, hi, im the problem @kellyinglis326 @Taylor Swift #erastour #lincolnfinancialfield #taylorswift #eras #badbloodtaylorsversion "Basically the guard had been harassing our group all night, he just kept telling us not to touch the rail, like any time we did anything he was like on top of us, we're dancing having fun and he didn't like it. "And Taylor noticed that I was having fun and that he didn't like it and she didn't like it [referring to her shouting at the security guard] and then he basically got escorted out and then they offered us free tickets for tonight! She added: "It wasn't this big crazy thing, it was just a bunch of girls having a good time and he didn't want us to have fun." Have your say in our news democracy. Johnny Depp and Jenna Ortega shut down 'ridiculous' 40-year-age-gap dating rumours
Dating rumours have been circulating about Johnny Depp and Jenna Ortega - and now the actors have responded by adamantly denying this. It all began when celebrity gossip account, Deuxmoi, said that the pair had been spotted on a date together, and also perhaps working together on Tim Burton's Beetlejuice 2. However, the 20-year-old Wednesday actor was quick to dispel these rumours connecting her to the 60-year-old Hollywood veteran in an Instagram Story. “This is so ridiculous I can’t even laugh," Ortega told her 40m followers. “I have never met or worked with Johnny Depp in my life. Please stop spreading lies and leave us alone.” Meanwhile, Depp's camp has also vehemently shut down these rumours too, describing how the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was "appalled" by them. His rep told NME: “Mr. Depp has no personal or professional relationship with Ms. Ortega whatsoever. He has never met her or spoken to her. “He is not involved in any project with her, nor does he intend to be. He is appalled by these baseless and malicious rumours that are intended to harm his reputation and career.” Beetlejuice 2 is set to see Ortega play the daughter of Lydia Deetz, the role famously played by Winona Ryder in the original 1988 film, while Ryder and Michael Keaton will also reprise their roles for the sequel. The film is expected to be released on September 6 2024. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Woody Allen premiere disrupted by topless protestors in Venice
Woody Allen's Coup De Chance premiere at Venice Film Festival was hit with a group of topless protestors, who were eventually led away from the event. The group of around 15 people were captured on video chanting "no rape culture" while standing outside the Palazzo del Cinema venue. Allen's daughter, Dylan, has previously accused him of sexually abusing her when she was a child – claims he denies. The protestors were reportedly from several Italian groups, said to include feminist groups Non Una Di Meno and smaller collectives: Cso Morion, Spina Collective, Squeert Collective and Cso Pedro. It comes after the 87-year-old dismissed cancel culture as "silly" before saying there was "nothing in" the allegations put against him. When asked by an audience in Venice whether he felt that he had been cancelled he said: "I just find that all so silly. I don’t think about it. I don’t know what it means to be cancelled." Allen went on to discuss the MeToo movement, saying: "I think any movement where there’s actual benefit, where it does something positive – let’s say for women – is a good thing." He added: "It’s silly when it’s not really a feminist issue or an issue of unfairness to women. When it’s being too extreme in trying to make it into an issue when, in fact, most people would not regard it as any kind of offensive situation." The director once again denied child abuse allegations put against him. "There was nothing in it," he said. "The fact that it lingers on always makes me think that maybe people like the idea that it lingers on." When asked when he had any contact with Dylan or her brother, Allen said: "No. Always willing to, but no." Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy.
