PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: Fans have witnessed innumerable Acts — from poignant singing moments to cute and astonishingly talented children — and seven unforgettable Golden Buzzer moments throughout the nine weeks of 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 Auditions. It's almost time for the Live Shows round... but not quite.
'AGT' viewers have become dissatisfied with the show after yet another scheduling adjustment. Tonight's edition of 'AGT' is scheduled to air, but it is not what viewers are anticipating. 'AGT' auditions were finally completed last week after rounds and rounds of rounds. This week's program was expected to be Judge Cuts, or the start of the live episodes.
When did 'AGT' Season 18 auditions end?
Season 18 of 'AGT' has completed auditions and is looking forward to the live events. Fans will, however, have to wait a little longer before they can vote for their favorite artists, since live events aren't scheduled to begin until next week.
The last round of auditions for Season 18 of 'AGT' aired last week. Chibi Unity, a Japanese dance crew, performed at the end of the program, earning the group the Golden Buzzer from the judges and host.
Fans slam 'AGT' for airing a filler episode
On August 15, a new episode premiered – but it's not what you expect. Instead of a traditional audition episode (the ninth and last round of auditions took place on August 8), it was a two-hour special that recapped the best of 'AGT' 18 thus far.
Fans witnessed the Judges and Terry Crews reminiscing until the episode's last minutes, when the Top 55 Acts progressing to the Lives will be revealed following Judge deliberation.
'AGT' viewers were perplexed and furious when they learned there would be no program tonight. They commented on it on social media. "This recap was unnecessary I wish they would have told us who got on instead," one person tweeted.
Another user asked, "Dear #AGT Why is every single episode a repeat?!?" Others wrote, "Not a fan of another recap episode for #agt it’s beyond repetitive. I thought we would get to see the judges deliberate."
A fourth user noted, "Are we just speed running the best auditions of the season? Like if they're the best of the season, show them in their entirety."
One person tweeted, "This is like the fourth or fifth week of recap sows." "Let's get this filler episode out of the way," one tweeted.
Another person complained, "I miss when there really was a second round before the live shows. When acts came back, were tweaked and had to go again. There was better content for the viewer, plus a lot less c**p made it through and a lot fewer hopes and dreams were stepped on."
Another person quipped, "Yay…. another compilation filler episode… still no lingering sadness with a hint of anger at all but at least that’s something to think about… :D."
When will 'AGT' Season 18 episode 11 air?

For the next five weeks, 11 acts will perform for the Judges. Voting will begin every Tuesday night after the program airs, and the results will be presented the next night, on Wednesdays. Based on fan voting, only two Acts will proceed to the Finale each week, while the others will be eliminated.
