AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan, a UFC commentator, was disappointed by the use of steroids in the bodybuilding industry. In his podcast, the 'Joe Rogan Experience' ('JRE'), he discussed it. Rogan refuses to acknowledge the existence of bodybuilding in Episode #1576.
He said that bodybuilders didn't even resemble people. “Bodybuilding doesn’t exist. Bodybuilding [by] steroids exists,” he said to his guest Mariana van Zelle.
'Those giants that you see at the gym'
Rogan told a story about his friend, a committed bodybuilder who did not use steroids. The 'JRE' presenter said that his acquaintance didn't resemble "those giants that you see at the gym who are on steroids."
“There are people that walk around like if you go to like a Gold’s gym in Venice in the heyday when all the elite bodybuilders would go there, they don’t even look like humans, they look like walls with feet,” Rogan added. Over two years have passed since the airing of the episode in which Rogan discusses bodybuilders' use of steroids.
The tragic demise of Jo ‘Joesthetics’ Lindner
Jo Lindner, better known online as Joesthetics, was a significant contributor to the fitness community, however, he tragically passed away at the early age of 30. He has acknowledged utilizing medications to increase performance. An aneurysm, however, was the real reason for his demise. His girlfriend Nicha, who provided an account of what transpired, verified it.
Jo Lindner posted an explanation of steroid abuse on his YouTube channel. He was open and honest about the problems associated with steroid use. He took care to convey his point. He also discussed gynecomastia and how he learned about the problem in another video.
“You can also look pretty decent, just go to the gym, put [in] the time and put [in] the effort and put [in] the dedication, stay motivated, follow a good routine for months, for years, and you also are able to develop a very good physique,” Linder said, according to DMARGE. Even Lindner admitted his impulsive decision to begin using steroids. On the suggestion of others, he took steroids, which turned out to be bad for his health.
