For the blissfully unaware who missed the viral footage circulating over the weekend, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper was filmed retaliating to an excited fan while performing at Drai's Beach Club in Las Vegas. Cardi, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, was drenched in water when the fan splashed her with her drink. In response, the rapper furiously hurled her microphone at the attendee before they were escorted out by security. Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave in Sin City, told TMZ the mic was easy to track down after the rapper threw it. The starting bid on the eBay listing was $500 with the original RRP being $1,000. It currently has 39 bids at the time of writing, and has reached a staggering $30,000. Scott intends on splitting the money across two charities, the Wounded Warrior Project and a local Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. Posting on Instagram in a paid partnership with Airbnb, the actress walked through the guesthouse and showed off all the rooms with a fireplace, bar, pretty nice bedroom and a bathroom complete with Goop products. "Your skin is going to be better when you leave than when you came," she said as she walked through the bathroom. "We can have a fantastic cosy dinner," she added when she showed off the dining room. According to Ticketmaster, input is given by the artist on the service fee and facility charge. Finally, there are the resellers who purchase tickets with no intention to attend the show but rather buy tickets to turn a profit by making listings on marketplaces like StubHub and SeatGeek. Prices can shoot up as there are no limits as to what the seller can charge. “This is a truly market-driven platform,” StubHub spokesperson Jessica Finn told LA Times. “So this is really about what sellers think that the price, the value of the ticket is, and what buyers think the value of the ticket is, and they effectively agree on it with a purchase... It’s very much a dynamic marketplace, prices go up and down and we don’t meddle with that.” A team of people or software bots can be used by the reseller to nab batches of tickets - hence why Swift decided for her UK tour to do album order presales, get fans to sign up for the general sale, and have staggered ticket sales throughout the day to try and stop bots and resellers.
