LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ana Navarro has been missing from ‘The View’ for three days now, but she continues to remain active on social media. Navarro has been a big advocate of Mark Zuckerberg’s latest app, Threads. ‘The View’ co-hosts previously discussed the Threads app on-air, and Navarro had a lot to say about Elon Musk. While she made the switch to Threads, however, looks like she has a hard time letting go of Musk's Twitter.
Navarro has made it loud and clear that she has switched to Threads and wants others to do the same, while also bashing Twitter in the process. However, when it comes to politics and dragging the Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis through the mud, Navarro continues to remain active on Twitter.
‘Alternative to Twitter’s dysfunction’
Navarro was quick to sign up for Threads, becoming one of the first co-hosts on ‘The View’ to do so over the summer hiatus. After facing heavy backlash on Twitter for her political opinions and for defending herself, Navarro has been more active on Threads and Instagram. She took to Threads and urged more people to make the switch as she wrote, “Ya’ll we need to reach out to our communities and networks and get them to sign up to @threadsapp. Let’s give this better alternative to Twitter’s dysfunction, some life.”
Despite this promotion of Threads, Navarro continues to be extremely active on Twitter, especially when it comes to politics. Looks like the only thing or person, missing from Threads that’s keeping Navarro hooked to Twitter, is DeSantis.
‘Ron DiSaster is waging war’
With the 2024 Presidential election being the next big thing, Navarro’s advocacy against DeSantis has increased tenfold. Whether it is on-air or off-air, Navarro made it very clear that she doesn’t support him, his beliefs, or his policies. Despite not being present on ‘The View,’ Navarro has made sure that her opinions about DeSantis stay alive off-air as she retweets CNN talking about home insurers in Florida, “In the meantime, Ron DiSaster is waging war against drag-queens, books and Mickey Mouse.”
In addition to that, Navarro has also retweeted news about details regarding the ‘inner workings of Ron DeSantis’ strategy.’ To this, all Navarro had to say retweet was, “Personality transplant?” but it was more than enough. The only way Navarro will make that permanent switch to Threads is when DeSantis moves himself and his political campaign to Threads, which will be an interesting turn of events.
