Adriana Chechik is making OnlyFans content again after breaking back
Adriana Chechik has confirmed that she’s back making OnlyFans content again after breaking her back in 2022. The streamer and former adult star said just a few weeks ago that she was still in chronic levels of pain over a year after breaking her back in a foam pit accident. Chechik required surgery on her back after breaking it by diving into a foam pit at the Twitch annual convention, TwitchCon, in October 2022. Now, the 32-year-old has announced that she’s back with livestreams on the adult content site after regaining “feeling” in her body. “It’s happening at 5 pm PST! Unfortunately, my gaming PC broke so now setting up a new one as this house has bad wifi! So looking forward to 5 pm PST!” she wrote on Twitter, announcing that she was live on the site for the first time since breaking her back. She also said that she had been “working hard” to get herself to this point and “regain the feeling inside [her] body.” It comes just a few weeks after she spoke about her struggles with recovery. The Daily Star reports that she explained in an X/Twitter post: “This year, I’ve learned so much about my own strength and will to achieve my goals. I started doing 5 to 6-day-a-week workouts at 7 AM for the past two months. “I’ve been doing physical therapy seven days a week for close to a year now. I cannot explain how hard it is to motivate yourself every morning when you’re suffering with chronic pain.” In recent years, Chechik has transitioned away from being an adult performer in favour of live-streaming gaming content and posting on her OnlyFans account. Joe Lycett confirms Turdcast podcast is fake as he calls on water companies to take 'poo promise'
Fans already had their suspicions after Joe Lycett mysteriously cancelled plans for his new podcast, named Turdcast, on Friday, and now the Birmingham funnyman has confirmed that the planned audio series - and reports of a sewage “spillage” – was part of a much wider stunt calling on water companies to do more to address the sewage scandal. Last week, Lycett announced he was launching the “ploppy poddy” in which guests talk about their “toilet habits”, and even told indy100 that he’d love to have author Dr Giulia Enders on the podcast, implying it was actually a real project from the Got Your Back star. His first guest was supposedly Gary Lineker. There was even a launch event scheduled for Thursday – a day before the supposed release of the first episode - at Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock, in which Lycett attempted to erect a giant inflatable toilet known as ‘The Turdis’ and interview the general public about their toilet stories. However, the publicity stunt had to be cancelled early “due to a technical issue” with the inflatable object, and windy conditions didn’t help with its inflation, either. A spokesperson released a statement which claimed that “a mechanical fault occurred with a portable toilet which saw a small spillage occur”. “This was immediately dealt with by the support team on hand to ensure there was no impact on the water into which the spillage occurred. “However, the event was cancelled with immediate effect as it was not possible for members of the public to use the toilet as planned. We apologise to disappointed fans hoping to attend,” they said. Lycett himself later put out his own statement on social media on Friday morning, in which he revealed the dramatic decision to “cancel the podcast indefinitely”, as it would be “inappropriate” to launch Turdcast off the back of the “ongoing investigation into the sewage spilled into the waters”. “I’d like to reiterate that it was entirely safe and managed by the team very swiftly. I’ll be releasing more information in due course,” he added. Well, that came on Saturday, when Lycett shared a video statement from “Miss Sue Idge” confirming that “of course” he didn’t spill raw sewage” and that it was instead another stunt to “get people talking about the big issues”. He continued: “I’m not spilling s*** in public everywhere. Who do you think I am, GB News? “No, it was fake sewage, from a fake toilet, to promote a fake podcast. Turdcast was never real, although we did record a real one with the real Gary Lineker. “It would have been better to use a fake Gary Lineker because we would have saved a lot of money on his day rate.” Lycett explained that his fake sewage was to get people talking about the “real sewage” being spilled by water companies every year, and that an hour-long special on water companies will air on Channel 4 next year. “Last year, according to one analysis, £1.4 billion in dividends was paid out to shareholders of the water companies – that’s a lot of money that could be used to improve the sewage network and reduce spills. “So I want the water companies to stop paying dividends, and invest that money in improving and solving this problem,” he said. He then called on viewers and fans to go to a website and email their water company, calling on them to sign up to “Joe’s Poo Promise” – lovely alliteration. Lycett has since been branded a “genius” and “national treasure” over the campaign: And it’s not the first dramatic stunt which Lycett has pulled off, as he pretended to shred £10,000 in protest at David Beckham being an ambassador for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and created an elaborate four-year stunt which “infuriated” MPs and formed the basis of his most recent stand-up show, More, More, More! Did Harry Styles shave his head for a role in The White Lotus?
Harry Styles shocked fans when he ditched his signature locks and shaved his head - but now rumours are flying that there is particular reason the popstar is sporting the buzzcut look. Upon photos of Styles at a U2 gig in Las Vegas looking rather different getting shared, the internet reacted with memes, a Taylor Swift conspiracy theory, and at one point the pop star's mum intervened questioning what all the fuss was about. The latest rumour that has garnered attention is the theory that Styles shaved his head because he's going to star in season three of The White Lotus. Jennifer Coolidge, Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, and Sydney Sweeney are just some of the A-list actors who have starred in the show, the first season aired in 2021, followed by season two in 2022. It has been confirmed the Emmy Award-winning series will return for a third season, but it may not be released until 2025 due to strikes, HBO and Max chairman/CEO Casey Bloys said, as per Variety. While the show's creator Mike White has said he hopes to start filming “at the beginning of the year.” Some of the new characters written for the upcoming series include "a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a misfit and a yogi," according to Deadline, we also already know the season will focus on exploring “death in Eastern religion and spirituality," as White confirmed last year. These details have led Styles fans to believe that the singer and actor shaved his head in preparation to play one of these roles. Plus, this rumour was further fuelled when anonymous celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi claimed that an "A-list singer" was "circling a part" - with the singer tipped to play the reported "yogi". Australian radio star Leon Sjogren also speculated this theory that we'll see Styles in the new season. This wouldn't be the first acting role for Styles, as he has previously starred in Dunkirk (2017), Don't Worry Darling (2022), and My Policeman (2022) as well as a post-credits sequence in the Marvel film Eternals (2021). It's been quite the year for the As It Was singer too, after he won Album of the Year for Harry's House at the Grammy Awards, and completed his last leg of Love on Tour - so as he's not touring fans noted how he has some free time on his hands to pursue a role like the one that is rumoured. However, Styles has since responded to the rumours that he'll be joining the new season of The White Lotus, as HuffPost UK reported that his team confirmed that Styles won't be starring in the show. While fans will be disappointed, they'll no doubt be watching in anticipation to see what Styles does next. Sandi Toksvig flooded with support after expressing ‘rage’ at ‘anti-trans’ people
Sandi Toksvig has prompted an outpouring of support for expressing her anger at anti-trans people in politics and the media. The former Great British Bake Off presenter said: “I am so distressed by people who call themselves ‘radical feminists’ but are anti-trans. I could weep. I don’t get it. It’s beyond me. “When the feminist movement started in the 60s and 70s, lesbians were often excluded, because we were told that we would make the movement less palatable. I have been excluded myself, so how could I do that to someone else? It fills me with rage.” Toksvig was speaking in an interview with The i newspaper to promote an upcoming performance with the London Gay Men’s Chorus. A vocal LGBT+ rights campaigner for decades, Toksvig was one of Britain’s most visible lesbian women when she came out publicly in 1994. She also founded the Women’s Equality Party in 2015 and is working on a campaign to remove unelected Church of England bishops from the House of Lords because of its opposition to same-sex marriage. She said: “It’s shocking. They don’t deal with gay people or women in an equitable manner. And they aren’t some sort of obscure organisation – this is our state church. “None of them have been elected. This is our parliament and it’s not OK. Be a bigot if you want to, in your own back yard – but don’t come and play in mine.” Responding to Toksvig’s comments on social media, people immediately jumped to the TV stalwart’s side. Broadcaster India Willoughby wrote: “Now here’s a classy lady. Graham Linehan [the screenwriter and prominent anti-trans campaigner] will be along shortly to tell Sandi she’s not a real feminist.” Another person said: “Sandi had such an impact on me when I was growing up and watching number 73 [a 1980s British TV show]. “I'd never seen another woman like her and being a non conforming teenage lesbian who didn't understand herself or her sexuality, Sandi was pivotal in helping me figure it all out.” And a third added: “She’s fabulous isn’t she.” As for Toksvig, she promised to go on campaigning. She said: “I’ve been an activist all of my life. It’s a core part of who I am. We’re here, we’re making noise – and we’re not going away.” How to join the indy100's free WhatsApp channel Sign up to our free indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. The late singer and TV presenter entertained audiences with a career spanning over five decades, with sixties hits such as "Anyone Who Had a Heart" and "You're My World" before hosting her own BBC variety show, Cilla from 1968 to 1976. North West's savage comment about Pete Davidson's Met Gala look is why she's a mini Kanye
North West is proving herself to be a miniature version of her dad, and the most recent episode of The Kardashians is a perfect example of why. The 10-year-old watched on as her mum, Kim Kardashian, took to the Met Gala red carpet, and she had some savage critiques to make when Pete Davidson showed up. "Hate it", she said of his suit. "You're going to the Met Gala, Pete, not the gas station." Ouch. Sign up to our new free Indy100 weekly newsletter

Jack Harlow ridiculed for 'worst Thanksgiving halftime performance ever'
Jack Harlow's recent NFL Thanksgiving halftime performance is getting roasted on social media. The Tyler Hero rapper was on stage at Ford Field during halftime of the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers game where he performed a mini-set. He began by rapping his hit What's Poppin after appearing from a makeshift igloo with a background performer acting as a hype man in the usual production. The 25-year-old then went on to perform other songs such as 'Industry Baby', 'First Class' and 'Lovin On Me' to a crowd that didn't exactly sound too enthusiastic over the show. Viewers on social media didn't hold back with their thoughts on Harlow's set, with people ripping into the set design and the lack of cheering in the audience. Others shared their confusion at the random man who appeared to hype up Harlow in the background for just a brief moment in the performance. Taking to Instagram Stories post-performance, Harlow revealed why he decided to take the opportunity to perform at the Thanksgiving halftime show. "On some real s*** the main thing that pushed me to say yes to this Thanksgiving halftime show aside from the opportunity itself is how much family I have in Detroit and all the times I've spent growing up visiting the city," he wrote. "I kid you not my great-great grandfather had a heart attack and passed away in the stands at the Lions Thanksgiving game in the 1960s and I'm not even bulls****** so u know I had to bring it home for bro." Meanwhile, country legend Dolly Parton was the other performer at the NFL Thanksgiving halftime show and took to the stage at Dallas' AT&T Stadium where the Cowboys played the Washington Commanders and her set was widely praised. One viewer said: "Dolly Parton is a goddamn national treasure." "Dolly Parton just won Thanksgiving," another person wrote, while someone else said: "Dolly Parton doing the halftime show in a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders costume looking like a queen. SLAYYY In Dolly we trust." Elsewhere, Harlow isn't the only artist whose set wasn't well received as last year Bebe Rexha performed but a lot of people in the crowd couldn't watch her set because the stage was tucked away in one corner of the stadium and as a result, fans started booing, Entertainment Weekly reported at the time. Paris Hilton is having a baby named London and everyone made the same point
Paris Hilton has called her new baby London, in a move which has got eagle-eyed millennials rather excited because of one noughties kids’ TV show. Hilton, 42, shared the news by posting a pink baby outfit with the name “London” on it. “Thankful for my baby girl,” Hilton wrote in the caption. Fans had at first been confused if the baby had already been born, or if she was just on the way, but Hilton clarified in a TikTok comment that her daughter has already “arrived”. And for those who, at some point in their childhood, watched mid-noughties Disney channel classic The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, the announcement caused quite a stir. The show stars a young Brenda Song as a hotel owner’s heir, London Tipton. The show takes place at the Tipton, which London’s father owns. London is caring – but spoiled and perhaps not the sharpest tool in the box. Noticing any parallels? Social media users certainly have. The internet was awash with people pointing out that Paris Hilton had, in fact, named her second child after a fictional character that was based on her. London is Paris’ and her husband Carter Reum’s second child. The couple married in 2021 and secretly welcomed their first son Phoenix earlier this year. As for her baby girl’s unique name, Paris told Ellen DeGeneres in 2022 why she would be naming her daughter London. "The girl is gonna be named London Marilyn Hilton Reum," she said. "Marilyn after my grandmother and London because it's my favourite city and I think Paris and London sound cute together."
