Angela White claps back at people 'mad' about her teaching at 'prestigious university'
Angela White is due to give an academic speech at a prestigious university in the US, and she knows people are “mad” about it. The adult performer, known as the ‘Meryl Streep of the porn industry’, is set to give a guest lecture to students at the University of California, Santa Barbara. White will take part in teaching the “groundbreaking” film studies course and visited the campus recently, revealing that she was introduced as an “adult entertainer, entrepreneur, academic, politician and creative”. “People are so mad about this,” White tweeted, responding to the story. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter “Thank you Professor Constance Penley for having me as a guest speaker at your groundbreaking course at UCSB,” the Australian start added, captioning a picture of herself next to Penley. “This is my third time as a guest speaker at this Film Studies class that approaches pornography as worthy of serious inquiry as a genre and as popular culture,” the busty brunette continued. “Thank you to the incredible students who asked well-informed, thought-provoking questions about my career as a performer/director, my academic research, and my time in politics.” White holds a first-class honours degree in gender studies from the University of Melbourne, and she also previously ran a campaign for a government seat in Australia. White recently hinted at a career move away from porn, with a new podcast being rumoured. A mysterious new Instagram page has emerged featuring a photo of the X-rated icon with the name ‘angelawhitepodcast’. And whilst the 37-year-old so far hasn’t made any official announcement about a move into podcasting, she is following ‘angelawhitepodcast’ via her official Insta account, which suggests it is legit. Grimes reveals that she accidentally showed Elon Musk's kids an R-Rated movie
Grimes has revealed that she once accidentally showed her young children Uncut Gems, not realising that it was an R-Rated movie. The singer, real name Claire Elise Boucher, has two children with Elon Musk. Appearing on Julia Fox and Niki Takesh’s podcast, Forbidden Fruits, Grimes said that she had no idea Fox’s film Uncut Gems was not at all suitable for young families. “I have such a funny story where I was with my kids’ grandma," she said on the podcast. "And I had no context. My dad was just like, ‘Uncut Gems is a really good movie.’ And yeah, I caused quite a bit of havoc and accidentally showed a bunch of like 12-year-olds Uncut Gems.” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The thriller from Josh and Benny Safdie focuses on Adam Sandler’s character Howard Ratner, who is a jeweler addicted to gambling. Over the course of the film, he attempts to retrieve a valuable black opal while managing relationships with his family and his mistress, played by Fox. Grimes told Fox: “I just want to say you did an amazing job.” She also said that “grandma” was there too. Fox added: “Yeah, they definitely were horrified.” “Not because they hated it, but I think it was the incorrect social group,” Grimes said. Grimes and Twitter CEO Elon Musk share a son named X AE A-XII and a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl. Apparently, they had another option for their daughter’s name, however, the government “won’t recognize” the name they wanted for her - a question mark. So they’ve decided to just nickname her “Y.” Y was (semi) introduced to the world last year when Grimes accidentally revealed she had a second child with Musk via surrogate to Vanity Fair. Taylor Swift fan reveals what singer did after stopping security from harassing them
Taylor Swift performs 'Bad Blood' as part of her Eras Tour set, and clearly had actual bad blood with a security guard at one of her shows who she told off in defence of one her fans. The said-fan has since made a TikTok to share her perspective on what happened. In a number of viral videos that are circulating around TikTok, the popstar was performing the '1989' track during her show at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia where she gave the telling off mid-performance. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter As she sang to the audience on one side of the stage, the 33-year-old began to look concerned as she told a security guard: "She's fine!" before going into the chorus. But clearly, Swift was unhappy with whatever was going on as she stopped singing and shouted: "She wasn't doing anything!" Swift then begins to sing again and was about to walk away but instead still wasn't satisfied with the situation as she walked forward again, stopped singing and yelled "Hey!" In one viral video (9.6m views) by Briana Layfield (@brilayfield) who captured the interaction she wrote in the caption: "Hey @Taylor Swift THANK YOU from all of us on the floor for yelling at that security guard. He was a pain in the a** the entire night and the fact that this happened during #badblood made it even better." @brilayfield hey @Taylor Swift THANK YOU from all of us on the floor for yelling at that security guard. he was a pain in the ass the entire night and the fact that this happened during #badblood made it even better 😆 PS show was PHENOMENAL 🫶🏻 Philly night 2 #taylorswift #theerastour #tswift #youneedtocalmdown #fyp #badbloodtaylorsversion A number of viral videos also show the interaction from different perspectives in the audience. "And Taylor noticed that I was having fun and that he didn't like it and she didn't like it [referring to her shouting at the security guard] and then he basically got escorted out and then they offered us free tickets for tonight! She added: "It wasn't this big crazy thing, it was just a bunch of girls having a good time and he didn't want us to have fun." Have your say in our news democracy.
