Caitlyn Jenner tried to swear at Joe Biden and it completely backfired
Caitlyn Jenner tried to swear at Joe Biden and it completely backfired
Caitlyn Jenner tried to use a rude word to criticise President Joe Biden but it backfired immediately after a glaring spelling error. The reality star is a well-known supporter of the controversial former president Donald Trump and said she would vote for him again in 2024 if he runs. Now, in an online interaction with Trump’s son Donald Jr, the 74-year-old has come under fire for remarks made involving the use of the R-word slur. In an X/Twitter post, Trump Jr shared an article about Biden’s administration and captioned it, “I know you’re not allowed to use the R word that was a big part of our vernacular growing up if you’re my age, but there has to be exceptions, right?” But, it seems Jenner had no hesitation in using the controversial word and went to write it out in a reply. But, it was quickly pointed out that she spelt it wrong. The reality star wrote: “I’ll say it RETARTED!” The results were hilarious as people made the whole debacle into one big joke at Jenner’s expense. “Girl you still ain’t say it,” one person pointed out. Another joked it was reminiscent of “The Black Eyed Peas in 2003” after their song using the slur was changed to the clean version with the title, Let's Get It Started. Although it originated as a medical term, the R-word slur is considered by The Special Olympics as a form of hate speech after becoming known as an insult towards people with mental impairments. Harry Styles officially debuts his new buzz cut to mixed reaction
Harry Styles officially debuts his new buzz cut to mixed reaction
Harry Styles dropped jaws across the globe after shaving his signature hairstyle and opting for a buzz cut. Rumours surfaced when low-quality photos surfaced online, but now, his lifestyle brand Pleasing has dropped an official first look at his new hair. "Our Founder, Harry Styles, toasts the launch of Pleasing Fragrance with friends in London. November, 2023," the post read, along with the photo of the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer perched on a sofa. The comments section opened up the floodgates to a wide range of opinions, with one describing it as an "opinion piece" in itself. "Can't lie he still looks so fine," one fan wrote, while another joked: "Can’t wait to defend this at Thanksgiving dinner." One person described Styles' new look as serving "Prison Break realness." Meanwhile, one Instagrammer asked: "Where was the trigger warning?" Others took the opportunity to mourn his famous locks, with one diehard "sobbing in curly hair." "Put this man in timeout," another humoured. It comes after a painting of Harry Styles by David Hockney was put on display at the National Portrait Gallery earlier this month. Hockney, most known for his contribution to the pop art movement of the 1960s, shows Styles wearing an orange and red striped cardigan and blue jeans paired with a pearl necklace. The exhibition showcases Hockney's expansive career with more than 30 new portraits, including Hockney’s mother, the late Laura Hockney and his friend, fashion designer Celia Birtwell. The David Hockney: Drawing From Life exhibition will run until January 21 2024. Trump doubles down on 'overrated celebrity' Kim Kardashian in scathing rant
Trump doubles down on 'overrated celebrity' Kim Kardashian in scathing rant
Donald Trump has doubled down on his apparent dislike of Kim Kardashian, dubbing her the “most overrated celebrity”. It’s the second time the controversial former president has had something to say about the star, despite seemingly having a good relationship with the reality star during his time in office. In Jonathan Karl's book about the last few tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidency, he suggested that the relationship first soured after Trump made a deal with Kardashian that he would help her with a clemency case, in return for her having some of her football star friends visit him in the White House – something that never transpired. Karl claimed Trump ultimately hung up a phone call from Kardashian in a rage, and after some “choice words”, over the alleged broken promise and his belief that she supported Joe Biden. Now, Trump has taken to social media to publically call out Kardashian in a scathing rant calling her “overrated”. In his post on Truth Social, he claimed that Karl’s version of events are “fake news”. He wrote: “In the ‘book’ he has the World’s most overrated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, supposedly telling me that she ‘would leverage her celebrity to get football stars to come to the White House,’ if I would commute the sentences of various prisoners. “This story is Fake News in that she would be the last person I asked to get football players.” Elsewhere in the long post, he wrote: “I did help with prisoner commutation, but only if deserving, and much more so for Kanye West than for Kim, who probably voted for Crooked Joe Biden.” Kardashian and Trump met in the Oval Office in 2018 to talk about prison reform and sentencing, as well as the pardoning of Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for nonviolent drug and money laundering charges. The former president granted Johnson clemency days after their meeting.
