CINCINNATI, OHIO: During a recent YouTube livestream, Darren Watkins Jr, popularly known as IShowSpeed, shared an experience involving the Kick streamer Adin Ross.
While taking part in a recent session of EA Sports FC 24, Speed addressed viewer inquiries about a potential reunion with Ross. He disclosed that he went to great lengths, even traveling to Miami with the hopes of meeting Ross, only to discover Ross had already left the city.
Speed's attempts to coordinate with Adin Ross were apparently met with unresponsiveness. Additionally, IShowSpeed revealed that he had reached out to Ross for assistance during this time.

During the livestream, Speed took the opportunity to explain his feelings of disappointment regarding Ross. This came to light when a viewer asked Speed about his perspective.
"'Are you seeing Adin?' I tried to see him but he was like... chat, do you know what's so crazy? As soon as I went to go see Adin, he left! And then, when I actually needed his help, you know what, I'm not even going to get into that. Well, look - as soon as I went to look see Adin, he left. I was like, 'Really, bro? Like, you didn't even tell me beforehand? Like, I came to Miami for you, bro!' And he left. So, I was kind of sad."
Speed then posed a question to his fans: "Chat, how would you feel if you flew to a whole different city? Chat, imagine if you flew to a whole different city. Like... to see what's up and they left."
Adin Ross refutes IShowSpeed's claims
Adin Ross took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 25, 2023, and addressed IShowSpeed's remarks.
According to the Kick personality, Darren and his team had organized a trip to Miami on a Wednesday, even before their conversation with Speed. Ross explained that he had prior commitments with his family, emphasizing that IShowSpeed's visit to Florida wasn't exclusively for their meeting.
Accompanying the post, Adin Ross included two screenshots displaying private conversations he had with IShowSpeed and his video editor, Slipz.
Adin Ross tweeted, "They planned Miami Wednesday before I even talked to Speed. So he didn’t come to Miami for me. I made plans with my family before I even knew he was coming. Also, he said I wasn’t there for him I responded three hours later out of my sleep. Every time people speak on my name, I'm going to clear it up."
