NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Michael Strahan has recently been confirmed as the host of the new season of ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’ after the previous season ended on Sunday, August 27.
The 51-year-old TV personality has been absent from ‘GMA’ for over a week now with fans spinning their own theories.
The ex-NFL star will reportedly host ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’ from September 27 but nothing is certain when it comes to ‘GMA’.

Strahan has been keeping away from the studio desk at ‘GMA’, as he dropped off his daughters, Isabella and Sophia, to their colleges while promoting his various business ventures.
Even though Strahan has been off ‘GMA’, fans have still been able to see him on Sundays when he hosts the latest episodes of ‘The $100,000 Pyramid'.
The season finale of the game show aired on Sunday, August 27, leaving viewers wondering when or if they would see him back on screen at all.
Strahan answered that question on his Instagram Story on Monday, August 28, in which he re-shared a post made by ‘The $100,000 Pyramid.’
In the photo, fans could see Strahan giving a big smile for the camera while looking suave in a maroon suit and polka dot button-up.
He stood in front of the game show stage as the title of the program was written out above his head.
At the bottom of the photo, it was revealed that the show would be coming back very soon, which is now confirmed for September 27 on ABC.
The caption of post read, “The fun and games return with new episodes of #100KPyramid on Wed September 27 at 10/9c. Watch it on ABC and Stream on Hulu.”
The show is back within a month of airing its last episode while Strahan’s ‘GMA’ return date has not yet been shared.
Michael Strahan gives ‘Monday Motivation’ during absence from ‘GMA’
The former NFL star offered fans a much-needed Monday motivation to help them kickstart their week.
He shared a photo of himself in a cream-coloured full-sleeve t-shirt with beige pants, sitting with his hands interlocked, all while looking and smiling into the camera.
The caption read “!!Think about this!! We’re our own worst enemy. You doubt yourself more than anybody else ever will. Move beyond your self-doubt and go for it!! What do you have to lose?”
