Sima, the matchmaker, has made a number of controversial statements regarding her customers and women in general. Her previous interview statements, in which she called educated women egoistic and the cause of increased divorces, elicited a similar reaction from netizens.
Sima informed Siddhaarth Aalambayan during the conversation that those who desire divorce are egoistic. She stated that the individuals she matched with had not considered divorce, but "if it happened, it is because they don’t have patience, flexibility, no willingness to adjust and have egoism."
She went on to say that educated women who refuse to adapt are the ones that generate difficulties. "That’s how problems are created. They don’t have the values of giving, sharing, and caring."
The matchmaker further stated that educated women do not listen to anyone and cannot adhere to others' expectations. "People are divorcing because there is no patience, no adjustment, egoism, ladkiya itana padh likh lete hai toh they say why should I listen to anybody? (Highly educated girls don’t listen to anybody)," she remarked.
She went on to say that when a flight is delayed, you just wait, and one must have the same patience at home. When the interviewer responded that the same should be true for males, Sima emphasized that she meant both men and women.

If you see the documentary she herself was in, it shows how her own daughter suffered the patriarchy. she has milked it well but no mental growth . Oblivious." One even went as far as to call her having "BOOMER ENERGY!!!" Another person chimed in, "Male feminist reverse uno."
