LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts’s bachelorette weekend has been a complete frenzy if her social media updates are to be believed.
The 62-year-old journalist will soon be getting married to her longtime partner and fiance Amber Laign. The wedding is in a few weeks but the celebrations have already reached its zenith.
‘GMA’ hosted an on-air bachelorette party for its beloved host and her partner Amber where all the co-hosts, from Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos to Ginger Zee and Rebecca Jarvis, played their part.
Robin then took the weekend off from her hosting duties at ‘GMA’ and jumped into a bachelorette weekend with her set of friends while Amber went to a separate celebration. She was missing from the morning show on Monday as well, taking “an extra day to recover.”
However, the bachelorette for Robin is over and the ‘GMA’ host has revealed in an Instagram post that she was “glad” she followed her fiance’s advice and “let loose” over the weekend.
‘GMA’ host Robin Roberts ventures outside her comfort zone on bachelorette weekend
The ‘GMA’ host is finally stepping up before her big day. After a string of long celebrations in the morning show studio, Robin was off to a bachelorette weekend with her friends.
Her wild bachelorette has now finally neared its end with the 62-year-old sharing an intimate post on Instagram, thanking her “bride tribe” for a wonderful weekend.
However, it wasn’t just the bridesmaids that Robin thanked as she also followed the crucial advice of her fiance Amber Laign for her bachelorette weekend.
She posted a photo on Instagram which was a collage of two different images, the bottom one being her looking in the mirror, donning a white hat, with a low-cut, white t-shirt and a sash along with a white veil. The ‘GMA’ host could be seen adjusting her hat in the snap with a smile on her face.
The image above that consisted of two canvas paintings, one of Robin and the other of Amber, surrounded by flowers and fairy lights.
She then captioned her post, “Thnx to my amazing, fun #bridetribe my #bacheroletteweekend was truly....lit!”
Robin then proceeded to thank her fiance Amber for her priceless advice of letting loose for her bachelorette party. She wrote, “Before Sweet Amber left on her bachelorette weekend she insisted that I venture outside my comfort zone and really let loose," adding, "So glad I followed her advice and so glad I have an extra day to recover!”
She reminded her fans that the weekend is over and she will be back in the studio soon. “See you Tuesday on @goodmorningamerica. I’ll be the one with the huge [smile] on my face, filled with gratitude. Hope you had a memorable weekend too.”
Robin Roberts looked ‘blissfully content’ on her bachelorette
Robin Roberts gave a small sneak peek into her bachelorette party when she recently shared a photo of herself with a slight smile on her face while her eyes were closed.
In the snap, Robin was sitting in a car with the window open as the passing background blurred behind her. Robin rested her hand on her chin and had lights wrapped around her.
Wearing the same white hat and t-shirt, along with some jewelry, she captioned the post, “This is what being blissfully content looks like….ohhhhh what a night!" and added the hashtag "bachelorette weekend."
