FLORIDA: In a recent live stream on September 26, 2023, popular Kick star Adin Ross found himself discussing the controversy surrounding fellow content creator Paul "Ice Poseidon."
During the stream, Ross offered his take on Ice Poseidon's recent comments made during an X (formerly Twitter) Spaces discussion.
In the X Spaces discussion, Ice Poseidon addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding his content and persona. He didn't mince words, stating, "Especially people on Twitter who complain about nothing. F**k Twitter. F**k cancelation. F**k everybody who gets mad about bulls**t. You're a bunch of wack of s**t who get mad about s**t. Not going to lie, you're lame as hell. Yo, honestly, Kick is number one. Twitch sucks. But everybody else on Twitter - you suck!"
Adin Ross addresses Ice Poseidon controversy
During his livestream, Adin Ross came across Ice Poseidon's controversial comments while browsing his official Discord server. Upon hearing Ice Poseidon's strong sentiments, Ross burst into laughter.
The Florida native's candid and unfiltered expression of frustration clearly struck a chord with Ross, who found humor in the situation.
Ross also acknowledged that some people had suggested he take action against Ice Poseidon by banning his Kick channel. Ross responded, "So, it's like - dog, all these crooked a*s, p**sy a*s, leftists, cancel culture bulls**t p**sies are the ones that do the f**ked s**t behind closed doors, bro! You guys deserve to be hung on trees. I said it, bro!"
In light of the recent controversy, Adin Ross explains why he's "mad" at people asking him to ban Ice Poseidon.
On September 21, 2023, Ice Poseidon went live from Brisbane, Australia, and allegedly hired an escort for livestreaming. After she noticed cameras everywhere in the room to which she had been invited, things took a turn for the worse. Later, the Australian police detained Paul for sexual assault.
Ice Poseidon issued a public statement on X, claiming that he did not hide cameras to record the incident secretly. As he wrote: "Wasn't a 'hidden camera' and I got swatted after, not arrested. Buck adding to the Twitter cancelation nonsense! Figure your s**t out, Twitter - it's legal content that even the police wrote off as legal and safe."
Earlier today, Adin Ross commented on the drama and was amused by the streamer's remarks.
Netizens urged him to take action against Ice Poseidon, citing their concerns about the situation: "Bro, I saw some p**sies, chat. Chat, did anybody see these p**sies, that like, stream on Kick - that were just like, 'Yeah, we're not going to stream on here if you don't suspend Ice.' Like, 'This is just bulls**t!'"
Adin Ross told community members to "shut up." "Shut the f**k up! Like, shut up, bro! Like bro - it just makes me mad because Ice is someone who's kind of like... super authentic and real. He'll never do some f**ked s**t behind closed doors. If he does some f**ked s**t, it's going to be on camera and his community f**ks them for that."
Why some followers found escort row on Kick 'cringeworthy'
One user wrote, "The issue isn’t kick the platform, but the Owner of Kick @StakeEddie doing laughing emojis the whole time. It’s sickening. They tried to stop her leaving! while the other user wrote, "This is goofy behavior for sure."
Another user wrote, "This is cringeworthy. Hope kick doesn’t allow this to happen ever again."
The fourth user wrote, "I'm having a hard time with this. I'm new to Kick but it's embarrassing. A quick google search of Kick Streaming news and the results are just a lot of this. It's hard to want to apart of a platform that is all bad news."
