AUSTIN, TEXAS: When it comes to the UFC and MMA in general, Joe Rogan is frequently a reliable source of knowledge. The most well-known color commentator for the promotion has been characterized as a mixed martial arts historian with an extensive understanding of the discipline. This in turn gives his podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' an interesting outlook.
During the #1824 episode of 'JRE', Rogan discussed UFC president Dana White while speaking to his guest Lex Fridman. Spilling insider details, Rogan revealed why White was 'banned' from the casino
‘Listen to this story’
Talking about White's high-level gambling skills, Rogan said, "He's so good they kick him out of casinos. Listen to this story. This was back when it was the Palms, it's not the Palms anymore. It's the Sans now. He won so much money. The most he's ever won on a night is $7,000,000." He further revealed, "The most he ever lost in a night is $1,000,000. Like, he's really wealthy. So for him to feel it, to get that charge, he's gotta be betting big money. So he won so much money they told him he's banned from the casino," Rogan said.
‘He's always working on fights’
Since Rogan and White are close friends, a stipulation in Rogan's contract said that if White left the UFC, he would do the same because he didn't want to work for anybody else.
On 142 episode 'JRE', Rogan referred to White as an 'animal' when discussing his work ethic with former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra. “He's an animal. He's just, like, always doing stuff. He's always involved, he's always got deals, he's always working on fights, he's always... he f****g loves this s**t. If he ever... It's in my contract that if he ever leaves, I leave. I'm like, 'I don't wanna do this for anybody else',” Rogan stated. Most fans would not recognize the UFC if Rogan and White weren't there. The duo has constantly taken part in the marketing for a long time.
