CLEVELAND, OHIO: The WWE Universe is still in awe of Logan Paul's incredible athleticism as he perfected an outrageous variation of the Buckshot Lariat at Summerslam. Logan Paul, a well-known podcast presenter and social media figure, has made a lasting mark on the professional wrestling community ever since he entered the sport. Paul also frequently appears at prominent WWE PLEs.
In the opening match of this year's SummerSlam, The Maverick faced Ricochet. Following their iconic moment at Royal Rumble earlier this year, the match's preparations had been underway for a while. There is no denying that the contest more than met the fans' expectations for two outstanding high-flyers.
AEW’s inspired finishing move
The match had a number of fantastic athletic spots and moves. The Maverick ultimately prevailed thanks to outside meddling from Paul's friend offering him brass knuckles, as seen in a video that has been making rounds on the internet. Additionally, Logan's modified and wild version of Hangman Adam Page's finishing maneuver, the Buckshot Lariat, in which he dove outside the ring to eliminate Ricochet, drew the attention of viewers, particularly All Elite Wrestling viewers.
At WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul made his WWE in-ring debut. Since then, he has been outstanding in every match. Additionally, he had the chance to face Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel PLE last year in a match for the Undisputed Championship. However, his SummerSlam match against Ricochet particularly stood out due to his insane and highly challenging maneuvers. Despite his use of brass knuckles to gain victory, his athletic skill was undeniably stunning. A user posted a clip of his Adam Page-inspired Buckshot on Twitter, writing, "Logan Paul's INSANE Buckshot to the OUTSIDE!"
‘Logan Paul is a goddamn star’
Even at previous events such as his match against Roman Reigns, Paul stole the limelight with his incredible performances, despite losing in the bout. Because of this, veterans praised him. Jim Cornette was one such veteran who complimented Logan on his skills while also criticizing the AEW roster.
"Logan Paul is a goddamn star that they found and they didn't even know it two years ago...," adding, "He's obviously done the training, he's taken this seriously, his basics are better than 90% of the AEW roster in just the training that he's had...." Cornette also said, "He's selling and understands why he's selling."
It will be fascinating to watch what The Maverick does next after the terrific bout against Ricochet since he continues to amaze wrestling fans with his incredible agility and determination inside the squared circle.
