LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Twitter user spreading allegations that Offset had an affair behind her back is facing legal action from Cardi B.
A video posted on Sunday by the Twitter user @ayywalker, who is devoted to Nicki Minaj, sparked a ferocious response from Cardi on Monday night, August 21.
What allegations did the Twitter user make against Offset?
An alleged image of Offset was included in the @ayywalker post, along with a fake voice memo that purported to set up a covert connection with a woman behind Cardi's back.
They included the caption, "Offset has allegedly cheated on Cardi B once again. How embarrassing” effectively getting Cardi’s attention, who only found humor in the potential lawsuit she was filing.
Cardi chastised the fan for posting blatantly fake pictures and AI audio of Offset, but she also made the outrageous claim that she had the father's personal information and intended to take legal action to make an example of them, as reported by TMZ.
What did Cardi B say to the Twitter user?
Cardi B addressed the claims on Twitter in a since-deleted voice note. She stated, "So you guys are going to receive a letter from his lawyer Because all these little games that you guys want to play online–it's going to be over with."
She added, "You're going to be getting sued, and we're going to make an example out of you. Yeah, and that was a terrible AI voice, by the way, so yeah, bye."
Are Offset and Cardi B still together?
In February 2017, when the two rappers attended Super Bowl LI together, romance rumors first surfaced. During a Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in October of that year, Offset proposed to the 'WAP' artist.
