PUNTA MITA, MEXICO: 'Too Hot to Handle' Season 5 has thrown together a bunch of hot, desirable singles on Netflix, telling them to essentially keep it in their pants. But, things are already heating up. In each season we see one contestant become Lana's detective. Lana, the AI rule enforcer, is voiced by comedian Desiree Burch. As the new episodes drop, fans wonder who is the detective in Season 5.
A group of sexy singles with high libidos have come on the show to work on the emotional side of their dating game while avoiding the temptation to get naughty. At stake is a cool $200,000 cash prize. The contestants are told to refrain from any s*xual contact. But there is no fun without some rule breaking and punishments. If anyone in the group breaks the no s*x rule then a particular amount of fine is charged, reducing the amount of the cash prize. In order to keep every contestant in check, there is a self-assigned detective in the new season.
Who is Lana's detective in 'Too Hot to Handle' Season 5?
As soon as the new season dropped, we saw the contestants looking out for any potential mates on the show. However, the one who couldn't get anyone to chase was Shedre "Dre" Woodard. Seeing him being more concerned about the money and game than the s*xual temptation, Lana started calling him Detective Dre, and in no time he became one. After each morning, we saw Dre asking each of the contestants whether they have broken any rule. He even was seen stopping some of the moves that could have eventually led to a rule break.
Dre needs to to avoid temptation to support his family
Dre has his eyes on the prize money and he wants no one to jinx it. Therefore, the star is seen trying his best to convince his fellow mates to not break any rules. In episode 2, we see him asking his fellow male mates, "What's the longest you went without having s*x, getting head or beating your own meat?" To this, Isaac Francis replied, "In the last few years, it's like a week." Being shocked by this reply, Dre says in the confessional, "Lana said we have $200,000." He then adds, "I got ten siblings. That could really help my family out." The sob story definitely bagged a lot of pity from the fans. Dre claims, "I gotta make sure everybody keeps their eye on the prize. Like me." Dre is then seen trying to convince his fellow mates to not break any rules by saying, "If you think about it bro, if you really connect with somebody, bro, without s*x?" However, it seems that no one is agreeing with Dre's no s*x plan. It is to be further seen whether Detective Dre will find his match in the show or will walk out being single and in debt because of his fellow mates' rule break.
'Too Hot to Handle' Season 5 Episodes 5-7 will release on July 21, 2023, on Netflix.
