CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 gets exciting with each new episode. Judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara, along with host Terry Crews were left stunned with stirring performances during the auditions.
Every new week brings new talented artists who take the stage and show off their skills. The 'AGT' contestants not only perform to impress the judges but also to advance to the next round. Among the contestants is Barry Brewer Jr who hopes to grab a spot in the next round.
Who is Barry Brewer Jr?
Barry was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He kicked off his career as a stand-up comedian in 2002. Barry first performed at local churches and later perfected his craft performing in comedy clubs throughout Chicago before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting in 2004. Barry got early fame from televised comedy competitions such as Bill Bellamy's 'Who's Got Jokes' on TV One alongside his peers, Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel Howery, and BET's 'Coming to the Stage'. He is best known for his stand-up comedy special 'Chicago I'm Home' and Tyler Perry's 'Bruh'.
He recently had a recurring role on the BET series 'Games People Play' and appeared in Kevin Hart's Netflix special, 'Kevin Hart's Guide to Black History'. In addition to his film and television career, Barry is a talented singer, songwriter and music producer. According to Barry's profile, he currently has two studio albums, 'Dive In' and 'Conquer Goliath' that he wrote, composed and produced. He can often be found most Sundays playing the piano or organ at his church. Notably, Barry recently produced and hosted a sold-out, nationwide comedy tour derived from the original series, 'When The Whole Crew Is Stupid', which received over 25 million views on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Barry is excited to appear on 'America's Got Talent' Season 18 and impress the judges with his stirring skills. The stand-up comedian shared a photo of himself from 'AGT' set with the announcement, "I will be on @agt next Tuesday and I promise you do not want to miss this 👀 Tune in Tuesday June 27th." In the photo, he stood on the stage with crutches in his hands. Behind him, a piano can be seen which hints he could perform a mixture of comedy and music.
