LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Pat Benatar has delivered a concise response to Senator Ted Cruz after he made a peculiar reference to her during a rant. In an interview with conservative talk-show host Joe "Pags" Pagliarulo, Cruz sought to explain the reasons behind President Joe Biden's popularity in the US Senate.
However, Cruz's explanation took an odd turn, involving mentions of devil costumes, the full moon, child murder, and notably Benatar, the renowned Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member. "I don’t think Senate Democrats, if you had video of Joe Biden murdering children dressed as the devil under a full moon while singing Benatar, they still wouldn’t vote to convict," remarked Cruz in the interview.
Cruz's remarks, possibly alluding to Benatar's song 'Hell Is for Children', appeared peculiar since the song actually condemns child abuse. The singer and her husband, Neil Giraldo, took to Facebook to issue a concise two-word response to the senator saying, "Nice try!"
Who are Pat Benatar's children?
