AUSTIN, TEXAS: Conor McGregor and UFC announcer Joe Rogan presently have a friendly working connection, and they frequently compliment each other as known MMA personalities. However, Rogan once irritated McGregor after making a few remarks about the Irishman's rumored usage of anabolic steroids in December 2022.
Notably, since suffering a terrible leg injury during his lightweight match against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, McGregor has not participated in the competition. And it was mentioned earlier this year that McGregor might face Michael Chandler again in late 2023, possibly in a welterweight match.
'Looks like his p**s would melt USADA cup'
McGregor looked bulked up after his injury layoff, which prompted some members of the MMA community to wonder if he's utilizing outlawed Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) for the purpose. Joe Rogan interviewed fitness guru Derek from the YouTube channel "More Plates More Dates" for episode #1905 of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' podcast in December 2022, and during it, the topic of McGregor came up.
Rogan stated that McGregor left the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) testing pool after suffering an injury and hasn't returned since then. He speculated that McGregor may have utilized PEDs throughout his time out of the testing pool to obtain an unfair advantage in recovery and bulking. "He's taking his shirt off and posing constantly, and he looks like his p**s would melt that USADA cup. Like, it would just like burn a hole right through the bottom of that USADA cup... The weird thing is that there is a loophole in USADA that allows you to get out of the testing pool. It seems weird and you just need six months. If someone's had an injury, though, that's a very wise way to approach it right," Rogan stated during the 'JRE' episode.
'Joe looks like his p**s melts his knickers'
After Rogan accused "The Notorious" of using steroids on the JRE podcast, the MMA star retaliated against him on Twitter. McGregor attached two images of Rogan in a tweet that he later removed, showcasing the UFC commentator's ripped body in his twenties and fifties. He even teased Rogan for not having fought in the UFC and made fun of his taekwondo background. "Joe looks like his p**s melts his knickers, in the company that long and never took a fight hahaha @ufc oh tae kwon do competition , call the cops hahahahaah," McGregor wrote in the now-deleted tweet. Notably, in the past, Rogan has openly acknowledged using PEDs as well as steroids to maintain and advance his physical condition along with his overall well-being.
