AUSTIN, TEXAS: Although Hulk Hogan left professional wrestling a long time ago, his followers are always eager to hear from him.
Recently, he was seen sitting next to Joe Rogan on his podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience'. During the episode, the wrestler threatened to hit the UFC commentator with a "hammer."
Hogan discussed one of the greatest wrestling fights in history on the podcast, which was his contest with The Rock at WrestleMania 18.
He spoke of how Vince McMahon contacted and requested that he compete against Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at WrestleMania 18.
Hulk Hogan said he could hit Joe Rogan with 'a hammer'
He described how The Rock slammed him with The Rock Bottom and challenged him to a match at WrestleMania 18 before going on to describe how he and Kevin and Scott ground The Rock down and unloaded on him.
He claimed to have brought a toolbox and pulled a hammer from it. He hit the Rock with a hammer from behind during the match as his men were hooking him. Rogan was astonished by this and inquired, "Is it an actual hammer?"
Hogan continued by claiming that he could smash Rogan's forehead with a hammer. But Rogan stopped him and exclaimed, "Let's Please Not!"
Incredulous, Rogan repeated asking if he had really hit him with a hammer, and Hogan kept answering in the affirmative.
Rogan was totally astonished to find that Hogan whacked The Rock with a real hammer.
Hogan said that he can pull it off and that he is a professional. He said, "Believe me, brother, I can hit you with a hammer. You'd be good, you know."
Hulk Hogan praised The Rock
Hulk Hogan gave Joe Rogan pro wrestling lessons. Hogan recounted that when he punched The Rock back then, The Rock immediately claimed that Hogan hadn't even touched him despite making contact.
He remarked that he is fairly skilled in this field before going on to describe the full incident.
'Hollywood' Hogan was defeated by The Rock at WrestleMania 18 in a singles battle that lasted more than sixteen minutes and is still remembered today.
In his chat with Rogan, Hogan praised The Rock for his performance in the ring.
He claimed to have everything planned out, including instinct, timing, and even positioning.
Rogan appeared to be quite afraid and might never forget what Hogan told him, despite the fact that Hogan had enlightened and reassured him.
