Tate is facing serious accusations, including charges related to sexual assault, human trafficking, and money laundering. Presently, he is under house arrest in Romania.
While Tate has garnered support from some followers who believe he is innocent, there are many others who label him a misogynist due to the accusations. Meanwhile, Carlson has made a surprising claim about Tate, calling him "really smart."
‘He has a coherent worldview’
After the interview with Tate, Carlson was left astonished by the overwhelming response the video received. The episode, which was released on July 11, has garnered an astounding 91 million views. When Carlson was asked about his thoughts on Tate and the remarkable viewership of the video, Carlson praised the influencer and his qualities, deeming it one of the most incredible interviews he has ever conducted.
Carlson claimed, “He's really smart. I talked to him for - I think we were there like 8 hours or something. I found him, I mean it's one of the most amazing interviews I've ever done. I mean that." Furthermore, Carlson discussed Tate's merits and expressed concerns about his current house arrest.
The political commentator explained, "I'll tell you what I know for a fact, which is Andrew Tate is really smart, he has a coherent worldview, fascinating person, and I felt that his views deserved an airing. The ones he articulated in the two-and-a-half hours we ran, very few I disagreed with. ... Unfortunately, he's under house arrest, like a lot of my guests."
