LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker took to Instagram to promote Violife's vegan cheese by making a cheesy quesadilla.
The internet had quite a few feelings about this, especially about the lack of vegetables in the Mexican delicacy.
In the promotional post, Travis can be seen opening his refrigerator pulling out some onions, and bell peppers, and proceeding to chop them.
However, the drummer was not seen using the vegetables to prepare the quesadilla. The final product contained only vegan shredded cheese.
After this, a fan questioned, "What happened with the onions, peppers, etc Trav?" Another fan wondered, "Sooo where did the peppers and onion go in this recipe."
Internet continued asking the drummer in the comment section, "What happened to the onions and bell pepper?"
Another slammed the drummer, "Theres nothing but cheese in those dillas so why he chopping sh*t up."
A user claimed, "It does look good. But what happened to the bell pepper and the onion?"
"Y did he cut up the onions n peppers..if he ain't using them," a follower added.
Another user mocked, "Wait what we're the veggies for then lol."
"So you use onion and bell pepper to make the cheese orrrrrrr ????" mocked a user.
Is Travis Barker vegan?
Travis has been vegan for a long time now. He has been devoted to the commitment to a vegan life after a health scare in 2008.
The drummer met with a plane crash that apparently changed his life from a vegetarian to a vegan.
He has been a vegetarian since the age of 15. And, it's been more than a decade since he switched to being vegan.
Travis told Men's Journal about his decision of switching to begin vegan, "Honestly, ever since I found this way of eating I have endless amounts of energy. I can go all day, and after it all I never find myself getting tired. No matter what kind of shows I have done, or workouts I do on top of it, I still have to force myself to sleep at night."
Travis Barker suffered life-threatening pancreatitis
Travis faced life-threatening pancreatitis in 2022 due to complications in colonoscopy.
TMZ reports the drummer being hospitalized after experiencing "excruciating pain" during an endoscopy procedure.
"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube," Travis claimed.
He added, "This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis."
Travis was admitted with symptoms of nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting.
Thankfully, the drummer managed to cope with it and returned back with good health.
Travis Braker goes through surgery after dislocating and tearing finger
Travis seems to be facing a lot of health issues.
Blink-182 drummer had to postpone the world tour this year as he needed surgery on a finger after an injury in a rehearsal.
On March 4, Travis shared photos of her injured finger as he was lying on the hospital bed.
He thanked his fans, "Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery. It was a hard decision to make but ultimately I couldn’t continue to play the drums without it."
He added, "It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically."
Thanking his doctors, the drummer went on, "So grateful for Dr Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon🥁🤘(trigger warning: last photo is hard to look at)."
