LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's hard to find a dull moment when all the hosts of the 'Today' show are present in the studio at the same time to banter and discuss topics that eventually tickle your fancy. One such surprising event occurred once again when Craig Melvin, Carson Daly, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager came together.
The topic of conversation among the hosts was the temperature of the studio, which the men felt should have been lowered, while the women disputed that it was exactly as they wanted it. But when Savannah remarked that she puts her butt right up against the weather monitor to keep it warm when it gets too cold, Al was the one who was completely shocked by her remark and couldn't help but take a jab at his co-host.
‘We put our booties right up against it!’
The hosts argued about the temperature in the studio during the live broadcast, with Savannah suggesting that the temperature in the studio should be between 70 and 72 degrees, which she believes is the ideal range, while Craig wanted a live reading of the current temperature. "I would love to get a temperature reading of the studio," Craig requested. While the crew searched for a thermometer, Al gave the current status of the weather, but before he could continue, he told everyone, "By the way, this monitor is about 90 degrees."
This prompted Hoda to jump in, “That’s where we go” before Jenna Bush Hager added, “That’s where we stand when we’re cold.” Savannah who had been vocal about the entire incident, gave a befitting NSFW comment that gave a visual to everyone of her plight in the studio. Following Jenna’s comment, Savannah said, “We do. We put our booties right up against it!”
'Anybody got some wipes'
Al who was at the weather monitor quickly retorted with wide eyes, “So that’s what those marks are! Wow.” But Savannah explained further, “It feels great on a cold day,” and Craig couldn’t help but laugh at the entire incident. Al then jokingly asked, “Anybody got some wipes,” to which Savannah instantly replied, “We’re clothed!” Before the conversation could get any more NSFW, Al quickly turned his attention to giving viewers the latest weather forecast. It could have gone far worse if Al would have allowed the joke to linger for a few more seconds than expected.
