LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' hosts love to tend to any concerns their followers and fans might have in daily lives and provide solutions for problems they can relate to. Ana Navarro is definitely one of the more active ones who regularly shares her advice and takes on things.
This time, the 51-year-old show host picked up the concern of traveling with your beloved pets - a genuine problem! As a mama of her lovely Havanese bichon herself, she went on to make an extended video to help her followers plan their trips according to their furry friends.
Ana Navarro's tips for traveling with pets
Ana recorded a video while walking to catch breakfast with her dog ChaCha in the Dominican Republic. Her caption summarised what her suggestions were in the long video: CLAP which stands for Country-Lodging-Airline-Pet.
She first suggested that when a pet owner, along with their pet, is traveling internationally, they should first and foremost check the different requirements of the respective countries they are traveling to. "Usually, they require you to fill a bunch of forms," the show host shared, "they require that a vet certifies the forms."
"Give yourself enough time to get all of that done," she suggested, "getting vet appointments has gotten difficult after Covid." She moved on to lodging and asked followers to look for places to stay that are pet-friendly. Along with that, she also asked them to check the airline requirements and restrictions related to pets traveling with you.
Ana's advice for packing for your pet
Finally, Ana made a list of things to keep in mind while packing for your dog. "You gotta have enough food," she said, concerned about the fact that the country you are traveling to might not have the food your pet likes. She also brought up "collapsable bowls" which can come in handy to have your god eat and drink.
"Bring her a little toy," Ana said next and shared about her stay at Cap Cana, "Even though ChaCha is very happy just playing with hotel slippers and her daddy's socks." She specifically bought a villa at the place she is staying to allow her dog to have space to roam around.
