The ‘Godfather’ star, 83, who is allegedly expecting a baby with girlfriend Noor Alfallah, has had a long high profile romantic life, where he had ties with a number of gorgeous divas including Meital Dohan, Diane Keaton, Beverly D’Angelo, Tuesday Weld and Jill Clayburgh, among others.
The ‘Scarface’ star's love life has always been a hot topic, but his relationship with Diane Keaton drew the most public attention. Pacino and Keaton apparently enjoyed a true Hollywood love tale, when they first met on the set of ‘The Godfather’, the movie that catapulted them into stardom after its release in 1972. At that time, Keaton was in her late twenties, whereas Pacino was in his early thirties. Their on-screen chemistry soon impressed the audience and translated away from the cameras. The ‘Annie Hall’ star previously admitted that she was smitten by Pacino since the start.
'I was mad for him'
“I was really very taken with Al from the very beginning,” she told The Telegraph in 2013. Later, she also confessed that she had a crush on Pacino when they worked together on 'The Godfather' and became mad for him once they started dating. “I was mad for him. Charming, hilarious, and a nonstop talker. There was an aspect of him that was like a lost orphan, like this kind of crazy idiot savant. And oh, gorgeous!” she told People. Soon, the two eventual Oscar winners’ affair moved further, and they began sharing a villa while shooting for 'The Godfather III' in Rome. By this time, Pacino’s inner circle started believing that he would finally marry Keaton, according to Amomama.

However, things took an unexpected turn, and their relationship strained as the weeks progressed during their stay in Rome. According to rumors, Keaton had already miscarried Pacino's baby and desired to have another child as well as marriage and relationship stability. However, the actor was unable to provide either of these, and their relationship came to an end. Pacino and Keaton decided to split ways sometime after ‘The Godfather Part III’ when she gave him an ultimatum that ended it all for them. “I worked hard on that one. I went about it in not a perfect way,” she told People.
Following their separation, the ‘Morning Glory’ star revealed that her relationship with Pacino failed because she did not have managerial skills. She explained that he had to be bossed around, and she was not a manager and did not have many nurturing skills. Since the split, Keaton enjoyed a glorious career but never got married. However, she has two adopted children, a daughter Dexter, who was adopted in 1996, and a son Duke, adopted in 2001. Just like Keaton, Pacino also never tied knots but dated a number of celebrities and had three kids out of wedlock. Now he is expecting his fourth child with 29-year-old Alfallah, whom he started dating in April 2022.
