LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Apple TV+ dramedy ‘Ted Lasso’ recently wrapped up it's third and final season starring Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Brett Goldstein among others. The talented cast gained immense popularity by adding wit and charm to the show and they are ready to take on other big projects. Waddingham and Temple recently spoke about the huge projects they were going to be a part of.
According to Variety, Waddingham is set to star in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’ alongside Tom Cruise. She has starred in several popular projects, including ‘Sex Education’ and ‘Games of Thrones’. Temple will next be seen in ‘Venom 3’ alongside Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams. She delivered compelling performances in 'Maleficent' and 'Atonement'.
Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple’s next projects
During the FYC event held at the Saban Media Center on Saturday, June 10, Temple revealed she will next appear in ‘Venom 3’, scheduled for release sometime in October 2024. She said that she had not started shooting for the superhero flick yet, but was expected to start “very, very soon, which I’m thrilled about."
Waddingham spoke about her upcoming role in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’. She also spoke about what it was like working with Cruise and gave details about his charm and charisma on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’.
‘Ted Lasso’ cast joins writers’ strike
Amid the WGA strike, the two actresses showed their support for the protesting writers, who seek fair wages and better job security. They both attributed the success of 'Ted Lasso' to "epic writers." Waddingham said, “We had to stand fully firm with them on the picket line, because 100% none of us would be here without the genius and expertise in that room."
Several 'Ted Lasso' cast members, including Waddingham, joined the protesting writers on May 30. Waddingham tweeted a photo from the spot, that showed Nick Mohammed, James Lance, Jeremy Swift and Jason Sudeikis among others. She captioned the post, “On our final day as Richmond Greyhounds….there’s nowhere else we could be. Thank you so much to our magnificent writers’ room. We’d be NOTHING without you."
