MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 13 premiered with a look at Melissa and Joe Gorga's three children. And, oh my goodness, they're growing up quickly! Antonia, Gino, and Joey are the children of the New Jersey residents. However, Joe's latest social media confessions imply that the father of three is having difficulty keeping up with his children, which did not sit well with his admirers.
Melissa proved last year that the apple doesn't fall far from the (family) tree. On September 12, the 'RHONJ' mother celebrated her son Gino's 15th birthday by sharing photographic evidence that the adolescent is clearly his father, Joe's doppelganger, but it seems like the 15-year-old is now giving his 43-year-old father a hard time with all-new hobbies.
'Has no desire to be out here'
On Sunday, July 16, Joe took to Instagram to share a video of himself in the water, while an exhausted father of three whines about having to sign up for a jet ski ride for the sake of his children. He goes on to say that he "has no desire to be out here." The footage also indicates that the 'RHONJ' star's eyes had torn up owing to the drizzle in which he must travel. The raindrops keep striking his eyes as he rides at 70 miles per hour, causing stinging pain.
He also claims that his children urged him to join in on the fun, but he didn't want to after working 15 hours a day. Furthermore, the weather for the day appeared overcast and cold, as his long-sleeve shirt couldn't keep the shivers at bay. He goes on to say that he is attempting to dodge every wave and puddle in his path. When his children inquire whether he is having fun, Joe reveals his true sentiments underneath the masked enthusiasm. But, in the end, the 'RHONJ' star insists that he must do it for the memories. Even if he would prefer to spend his Sunday on the sofa after a hard day at work, he would do it for his children to be a "good daddy."
'There’s thousands of dads who do and have done the same'
While shaming the father for complaining, a user commented on the post, "Dude stop bitc*ing it’s ur duty as a father. there’s thousands of our dads who do and have done the same!" Another user asked, "You work from 7am to 10pm everyday? Did you forget you post all day long smh." One person noted, "Oh my it’ll really hard just looking at his face let alone the bullshit that come out of his mouth 🤮." A fourth user further slammed him saying, "Stop with all the drama Brother you’re out on the water with your kids. Have a good time if you’re cold, go home.!"
One user also wrote, "You look like you are alone patting yourself on the back! No kids in sight! SMH!" Another quipped, "HE WAS ACTING HARD AND LOST." One chimed in, "Here ya go 👋👋👋 a Pat on your back for doing things WE ALL DO EVERYDAY with our kids… but some need to stroke themselves about it. Good job Little Joey… you are father of the year 🙄🙄🙄."
