NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly has sent the internet into a frenzy after announcing an interview with former President Donald Trump on her podcast, ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’.
The former Fox News host revealed that after welcoming many contenders of the 2024 presidential elections, she will finally be sitting down with former POTUS Donald Trump for a tete-a-tete next week on September 14, 2023, at noon.
This will be Kelly’s first interview with a former President in seven years and since the big announcement, fans and netizens have been unable to contain their excitement.
Kelly admitted that the interview is going to be “spicy” and “tough” and hoped that “both of [them] will enjoy it too.”

Kelly made the big announcement in the latest episode of her podcast, just a few days after Trump was interviewed by Tucker Carlson when he decided to miss the GOP Debate in Wisconsin.
The 52-year-old was happy to declare in her announcement that she’s “glad that Trump is doing the interview as he’s not saying yes to everyone.”
However, Kelly remarked that this in no way implies that she would either go too easy on him with the questions or completely side with whatever he has to say.
She declared, “Donald Trump knows that I’m not somebody who suffers from Trump derangement syndrome like the vast majority of people in the media but I’m also not a sycophant so I'm not gonna go in there and be a bootlicker.”
Kelly had Ric Grenell, the former acting Director of the US National Intelligence, as a guest on her podcast and he recalled Kelly being “tough” with Trump, the last time she interviewed him.
Kelly mentioned meeting Trump earlier this year in July when she and the former President smoothened out any earlier differences between them.
She recalled talking about this on the show where she said, “I’m glad that all that nonsense between us is water under the bridge and we’re just in a normal journalist covering you know President or former President situation.”
Kelly disclosed that the “Left freaked out” after she made the comments and rained down on her for forgiving Trump. Grenell comforted Kelly by saying that she’s “smart” and will do a great job.

Fans went into a complete frenzy on Instagram as well as YouTube after Kelly announced an interview with Trump as they expected a bombastic exchange.
On the Instagram post announcing the interview, one fan commented, “Oh my gosh, beyond excited !!! Speaks volumes ..Total Class Act Both of You,” while another wrote, “I love when you two get along! You’re both fierce.”
A third added, “Yes!! I know you’ll ask some tough questions. We need policy talk! Forget the indictments. That’s BS. I look forward to this!”
As she posted the video with Ric Grenell on YouTube, many others rushed to express their thoughts on this platform instead.
One stated, “Kudos to President Trump for pushing away any beef he had with Megyn. This is a better interview to have than any show on Fox.”
Another said, “A few years ago Megyn and Trump were at odds. They resolved it and now they’re going to sit down together. Love this.”
A third person also noted, “Almost forgot you and Trump had a history on TV. That was one of the moments that had helped propel Trump. You are great at this! Can't wait.”
A fan already knew that the interview would be great and wrote, “This will be a great Interview. A woman who knows what questions to ask and a Man who will answer them straight up like it or not.”
