CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul previously believed that he and The Rock, a former WWE superstar, might work together on commercial projects. The Rock appears to have cut ties with the contentious YouTuber, though, as Paul's $250M PRIME Hydration brand goes global.
Over the years, Paul's controversies and legal battles have garnered attention. He even started discussing prospective business partnerships with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson recently, appearing to be turning a fresh leaf.
Logan Paul-The Rock fallout
According to sources, The Rock and Logan Paul started talking about possible collaborations more than a year ago. Paul was thrilled to have the endorsement of one of the greatest artists in the world.
However, according to sources, The Rock turned away due to his concern over Paul's track record for controversies.
Paul had trouble establishing himself as a mainstream authority early in his career because of contentious films and high-profile litigation that damaged his reputation.
The Rock was probably concerned that teaming up with Paul may hurt his reputation. Paul has just made an effort to reinvent himself, but The Rock doesn't appear to want to help him.
PRIME’s success
Logan Paul may have lost The Rock's backing, but he is still moving on with his new energy drink company, PRIME Hydration. PRIME, which was introduced in early 2022 in conjunction with corporate partner KSI, has dominated the UK market.
The neon colored beverage is flying off the shelves at British supermarkets and convenience stores. Its popularity is hardly surprising given the drink's viral marketing and Paul's enormous fan following among Generation Z. However, PRIME has expanded at an astonishing rate.
In some regions of the UK, according to Paul and KSI, PRIME is currently outselling well-known brands like Gatorade. The buzz has been increased by celebrity relationships and endorsements. It will be a complete sensation if PRIME can even come close to replicating this feat in North America.
