LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann have separated after almost 12 years of marriage. On May 5, shortly after reports of their monetary and probable legal difficulties surfaced, Kim and Kroy filed for divorce, ending their relationship. Things have become nasty since the divorce was filed, with charges that Kim has a "compulsive" gambling issue and that Kroy is a manipulator.
The former couple wed in November 2011 at their Georgia home. But lately, the acrimonious divorce fight between reality star Kim and her ex-husband Kroy erupted with several calls to the police, including accusations of kidnapping and a stolen handbag. According to documents, the squabbling couple is currently residing in Georgia. The accusation of kidnapping is surprising since recently, on Father's Day, the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' alum, 45, shared she was 'okay with' daughters Ariana and Brielle continuing their relationship with her estranged husband Kroy amid their contentious breakup.
Kroy accused Kim of kidnapping
The most recent storm broke out on June 16 when 911 was called five times to address another domestic dispute as the couple traded accusations against one another, presumably in front of their four defenseless children, namely 12-year-old Kroy Jr, 11-year-old Kash, and the 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane.
The shocking 911 calls happened only two days after the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star begged a court to expel Biermann from their property where he has lived since the couple's legal separation on April 30, 2023, as reported by RadarOnline.
In the meanwhile, Biermann has also requested the court to order Zolciak out of the marital residence as they both fight for primary custody of the kids. Biermann also reportedly told police that he doesn't have the money to live anywhere else, as per reports. At 6:24 pm, an unknown caller dialed 911 for the first time, but the "person" abruptly "disconnected," according to a report from the Milton, Georgia Police Department. Although the police record lists a second call due to a possible "domestic" dispute at 6:25 pm, no information about what transpired is given.
'Son was dropped off with a woman named Aleese'
Zolciak placed a third call at 6:27 pm, Kroy accused Kim of participating in an odd kidnapping plot. The report states, "Son was dropped off with a woman named Aleese," the report states. "Husband said he was filing kidnapping for his son going to the rodeo." The fourth call to 911 arrived 14 seconds later with Zolciak alleging that her: "Husband stole (a) bag."
At 6:28 pm, the final call came, but the police were unable to identify the speaker. The person stated that he or she "doesn't need police at this time and will call back." If cops visited the residence, it is not stated in the two-page police report.
Zolciak claimed that Biermann physically blocked and 'chest-thumped' her
As per reports, Zolciak and Biermann got into another heated argument in May, which resulted in several strange 911 calls and allegations of domestic abuse, false imprisonment, credit card fraud, and the thievery of pricey designer handbags. That altercation started when Zolciak claimed that Biermann had physically blocked and "chest-thumped" her as she was leaving the toilet. She also accused him of not allowing her to call 911 when they fought.
The report detailing the May 2 incident states, "She was advised that Kroy could be charged with False Imprisonment for keeping her against her will and Obstructing While Making a 911 Call. She was unaware that she could call involving those offenses."
'Similar incidents occurred in the past'
When asked why she didn't contact the police, Zolciak stated that "similar incidents occurred in the past" and that she "didn't want the media's attention." The pair has been accused of a number of things, from Biermann using marijuana to Zolciak losing large sums of money due to her addiction to online gambling. The living situation inside their mansion is highly explosive and the former couple's conflict seems to center around the co-owned mansion itself.
