AUSTIN, TEXAS: 55-year-old UFC commentator Joe Rogan never shies away from speaking his mind out on even the most controversial topics. His podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' has carved out a distinct niche for itself in the podcasting industry over the years.
Rogan not only covers MMA but also comedy, Hollywood, politics and the list is endless. Sometimes he even tells about his personal life experiences, which include his wife and children. In the latest episode, Rogan revealed a secret about his 14-year-long married life. Rogan got married to Jessica Ditzel in 2009 after an 8-year-long relationship.
'I’m a non-criticizer of my wife’s behavior'
The UFC color commentator disclosed one of his own marriage's best-kept secrets in episode #1936 of 'The Joe Rogan Experience': his support and involvement in his wife's independent decisions. Rogan emphasized that he’s not one to rock the boat when it comes to his wife’s choices, and he trusts and supports her fully.
Krystal Ball, one of the guests at the show spoke about the marketing prowess of one particular company, LuLaRoe, in selling their goods. And how that company persuaded many ladies to purchase its 'ugly' leggings. She told Joe Rogan, “There’s a great series about this MLM, multi-level marketing scheme of these f*cking ugly leggings. That a bunch (of) midwestern housewives, for some reason, love these things.” Rogan, however, said in response to her description of these pants as ugly, “First of all, you and I are on the wrong page here, because those are kind of fly.” And when asked whether he would let his wife purchase these kinds of leggings, Rogan immediately replied, “I don’t have any say on what she buys. That’s how we work.” He then added, “I’m a non-criticizer of my wife’s behavior.”
The only thing Rogan can’t do for his wife
During the conversation, Rogan even shared a thing he will "never" do for his wife, no matter how much he loves her. Rogan once recalled an incident with his daughter and said, “When my daughter was little, there were two bananas and one of them was brown and f*cked up and old and one of them was perfect. And I looked at those two bananas and I know my daughter loves bananas, so she probably wants that nice banana.”
He continued, “I ate that f*cked up banana… I was thinking like, there’s not another person in this world I would do that for. Because I love my wife. My wife is an amazing person. But in any case, if it was just me and my wife, I’d be like, 'Ooh, I guess that b*tch is getting the sh*tty banana.'"
