LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone's wife of 26 years, Jennifer Flavin Stallone posted a selfie of them and a solo shot of the 'Rocky' actor in a heartwarming tribute to celebrate his 77th birthday on Instagram Thursday, July 6. The 54-year-old entrepreneur also uploaded a photo of the pair posing with their three daughters, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21.
"Happy Birthday my love!!! You bring so much happiness, laughter and love to our beautiful family!", Jennifer captioned the post. Her post comes just a couple of days after the Golden Globe Award winner shared a festive snap of the holiday in which he sported red, white, and blue novelty sunglasses and posed for a selfie with Jennifer. In the post, he wrote, "A very very happy Fourth of July!"
The Stallones celebrated Sistine's 25th birthday
Sylvester and Jennifer celebrated their daughter, Sistine's 25th birthday on June 27. "Happy birthday to our incredible Sistine. you are an amazing daughter, we love you!" Stallone captioned the post. "On the next picture, SISTINE on the right, shows you her broadcasting chops!" the actor added, referring to a clip in the post's carousel that showed a young Sistine reading a news report.
Jennifer also celebrated her daughter's birthday. In her Instagram post, she wrote that she considers herself "the luckiest mom in the whole world" while she shared several photos of Sistine over the years which included her sitting with Sylvester in one of his race cars. "You are an amazing, kind, beautiful, hard-working, athletic, and a compassionate person! You are loyal, sensitive, and bring immense happiness to our family!" the mother of three added in her birthday tribute to Sistine. "I love you so much, my sweet baby girl!"
Sylvester and Jennifer previously wanted to end their marriage
The couple previously announced that they wanted to part ways in August last year but ended up reconciling the next month. During a recent episode of their show 'The Family Stallone', the legendary actor finished filming Tulsa King and returned to be with his family in Florida, where he stood by Jennifer's side at the launch of her new skincare line. “She is a doer,” Stallone said of his wife. "She gets things done," he added.
The actor continued to express his love for his family as he told an attendee at Jennifer’s launch event, "I want to do everything with my family. That’s all I give a s--- about.” “Jen and my careers have been so crazy for so long,” Stallone added in an interview. “I’m looking forward to a new chapter of life, slowing down for a change to spend some time with my girls. I won’t be around forever, and I certainly want to leave them with fine thoughts of their father — that he did the best he could to make their life as fruitful as possible," he said.
