Cardi B microphone thrown at fan is now up for sale on Ebay
The microphone that Cardi B hurled at a fan in Vegas has now been put up for sale on eBay. For the blissfully unaware who missed the viral footage circulating over the weekend, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper was filmed retaliating to an excited fan while performing at Drai's Beach Club in Las Vegas. Cardi, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, was drenched in water when the fan splashed her with her drink. In response, the rapper furiously hurled her microphone at the attendee before they were escorted out by security. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Now, the mic is being auctioned off by the audio production company – and all for a good cause. Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave in Sin City, told TMZ the mic was easy to track down after the rapper threw it. The starting bid on the eBay listing was $500 with the original RRP being $1,000. It currently has 39 bids at the time of writing, and has reached a staggering $30,000. Scott intends on splitting the money across two charities, the Wounded Warrior Project and a local Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. It's unclear whether the fan's actions were intentional or not – but a new angle shared on TikTok shows the woman being apologetic. One concertgoer managed to get a closer look at the incident, which prompted an influx of comments from fellow TikTokers. @typicalelliott Mistery solved. This is the most detailed video of what happened to Cardi B that made her threw the microphone at a fan during a concert in las vegas #cardib #microphone #news #ice #drink #fyp #ny #dominicana #drais #rap "She looks genuinely apologetic," one person wrote. "What’s messed up is… what if she really didn’t mean to? Like what if she wasn’t thinking and just waved her hand forgetting the cup [was] lidless?" asked chimed in under the TikTok. 'Ahsoka' elevates its 'Star Wars' fandom with an Anakin Skywalker reunion
Having brought a "Star Wars" fan's instincts to the animated "The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels," writer-director Dave Filoni transferred that sensibility to live-action series. Clunky at times, at its best that unapologetic approach has yielded lump-in-the-throat moments, and it was on full display in the fifth episode of "Ahsoka," which reunited the titular character with Anakin Skywalker, creating another opportunity for Hayden Christensen to reprise the role.

F1 fans joke The Simpsons ‘predicted’ Damian Lewis 'slaughtering' the national anthem
Sporting events tend to attract some high-profile names to sing the national anthem before the competition gets underway – from Lady Gaga’s take on the “Star Spangled Banner” at the 2016 Super Bowl, to Homeland actor Damian Lewis singing “God Save the King” at Sunday’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Yes, really. Taking over from Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder, who performed it at the F1 race last year, the Wolf Hall star decided to deliver a jazzier rendition of the song alongside a saxophonist in sunglasses. As Lewis - who released his debut album Mission Creep last month - dragged out almost every word of the well-known chorus, one spectator was caught on camera letting out a small laugh, before the performers finished up their song with a flyover from the iconic Red Arrows. At least that offered some pre-show entertainment for those in attendance. Meanwhile, those watching at home decided to have some fun with some memes, because of course they did: Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter In amongst all this ridicule, one Twitter user joked The Simpsons – the iconic animated series which has become famous for seeming to ‘predict’ cultural events – managed to see Lewis’s cringeworthy performance coming: Taken from the season two episode “Dancin’ Homer”, in which the dysfunctional dad becomes the team mascot for the Springfield Isotopes baseball team, the musician picked to sing the American national anthem is that of “Bleeding Gums” Murphy – the jazz singer and saxophonist who is Lisa Simpson’s idol. As he takes to the mic to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” at 7:30pm, Murphy proceeds to deliver a version which – like Lewis’s – stretches out every word and has a more soulful feel to the melody. However, taking 26 minutes to finish his performance, the Simpsons family (all except Lisa) and the rest of the crowd can be seen getting more and more exhausted as the song progresses, to the extent they all collapse back in their seats as soon as he finishes singing. Ouch. And this wasn’t the only bit of drama to emerge from Sunday’s British Grand Prix, as Suicide Squad actor Cara Delevingne was slammed for her “rude” response to an interview request on the grid from Sky Sports F1 presenter and racing legend Martin Brundle.
