Josh Taylor has a point to prove when he takes on Teofimo Lopez this weekend, with the WBO super-lightweight title on the line in New York City. Taylor has not fought since February 2022, when he retained the undisputed titles with a controversial decision against Jack Catterall in Glasgow. The unbeaten Scot later vacated two of the belts and was stripped of another as he focused on a rematch with Catterall, which fell through earlier this year. The collapse of that fight led to the announcement of this one, however, with 32-year-old Taylor defending his remaining title against Lopez, a former unified lightweight champion. Lopez, 25, outpointed Vasiliy Lomachenko to win the lightweight belts in 2020, before losing them to George Kambosos Jr in 2021. The American has since bounced back from that sole professional loss with two straight wins at super-lightweight, though, stopping Pedro Campa in August and winning a debated decision against Sandor Martin in December. Here’s all you need to know. When is it? The fight will take place on Saturday 10 June, at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theatre in New York City. The main card is set to begin at 1am BST on Sunday 11 June (5pm PT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET). Ring walks for the main event are then due at approximately 4am BST (8pm PT, 10pm CT, 11pm ET). Nick Cannon has shared ex-wife Mariah Carey’s reaction to his large, extended family during a recent podcast appearance. Cannon, who has 12 children with six different women, shares twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with the “Hero” singer. In an episode of The Jason Lee Podcast released on Tuesday (9 May), the Masked Singer host said Carey is “high frequency” about him having so many children. The 42-year-old added: “She always asks me, ‘You aight? You good? How you doing? You handling it all?’” Cannon and Carey were married from 2008 until 2014, when they filed for divorce Explaining how Carey feels about Cannon fathering so many children, he said: “She’s like, as long as you don’t bring none of that bulls*** to the Manor of Carey. “Like, she lives in her own world, nothing can infiltrate that stuff. Dave Grohl surprised fans with a third appearance at Glastonbury on Saturday (24 June), as he joined Guns N' Roses on stage for their closing track. The band performed a two-hour-plus set with tracks including 'Live And Let Die', 'Knocking On Heaven’s Door', 'Sweet Child O’ Mine and November Rain'. Festival-goers were delighted as guitarist Slash performed the opening riff to their 1987 hit song 'Welcome To The Jungle.' Switching up the lyrics, Axl Rose sang: "Do you know where you are? You’re in the jungle, Glastonbury!" The lead singer later invited Foo Fighters frontman Grohl onstage to help them close out the show with an explosive performance of 'Paradise City'. Grohl had appeared earlier on Saturday as a guest for The Pretenders, having previously performed a secret slot with Foo Fighters on Friday (23 June).
