AUSTIN, TEXAS: The WWE Universe has been warned by Bully Ray that Logan Paul will undoubtedly prevail in this year's men's Money in the Bank ladder match. Ray believes that Paul's last-minute entry into the competition would be advantageous for the YouTuber-turned-wrestler to win the briefcase, and as a consequence, he believes that WWE will approve "The Maverick" winning on July 1.
On 'Busted Open Radio', Ray asked fellow podcaster Tommy Dreamer, “Is the WWE Universe prepared for Logan Paul to win Money in the Bank and hold onto that briefcase? Because business dictates that he should win.”
‘A difference maker’
While the inevitable looms large, Dreamer and Ray contended that during their fight on WWE Raw, Paul distinguished himself from Santos Escobar, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Butch, and Ricochet — five of the other six men competing for the briefcase. Dreamer claims Paul was "a difference maker" the moment his music went viral, mostly because Knight, the current betting favorite to win the briefcase, had a "little bit off" of a "cadence."
“He [Knight] has to hit those crescendos at that same time [he says 'Yeah'] all the time, because it's a bunch of repetitions, and we're a bunch of dummies — Yeah!” he said.
‘He does a good job’
Dreamer then praised Paul for stirring up controversy by criticizing his city of Cleveland.
“It was different, and it wasn't a wrestler-esque promo. You know why? He's not a wrestler yet, but he does one hell of a good job. He's probably had the greatest celebrity bringing into WWE match of all time. He continues to deliver,” Dreamer said.
Even though Dreamer feels Paul will win, he thinks WWE did a good job of giving Ricochet, Butch, Nakamura, Escobar, and Knight the opportunity to "tell their stories" and argue why they should get the coveted, life-changing briefcase. If Paul were to win the briefcase, he also anticipates his "phone to blow up" and the "internet to explode."
