NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Bravo is all set to showcase the heated drama among six ballroom dancers on its upcoming show titled 'Dancing Queens'. The series will provide viewers with an inside glimpse of Latin ballroom dancers' intense preparation for a coveted championship.
'Dancing Queens' features every step in the life of the dancers, from fast-moving hot moves to looking sexy and effortless. However, the dance competition comes with a lot of pressure as it takes hours of practice, obsessive commitment, prioritizing, and thousands of dollars for the outfit and makeup. Ballroom dancer Donie Burch is ready to set the dancing floor on fire with her stirring moves.

Who is Donie Burch?
Burch resides in New York and currently works as a Retail Director at Broadway Dance Center. She pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southern Methodist University. She also attended Berlitz Language Center for Italian Language Course and Parsons School of Design for Ketail Mathematics and Analysis course.
Donie also learns dancing at Dance With Me (DWM) studio. However, according to a profile on DWM's website, Donie rediscovered her love for performance and dance after her career had steered her away from it. She knows ballet and jazz since she can remember. Notably, Donie was a part of her high school dance team and joined a professional dance company during her senior year.

According to Bravo, Donie is currently single and her obsession with dance leaves her little room for finding a partner off the floor. Donie seemingly felt conscious about her not being a 'typical' dancer's physique and fears that the judges are rating her appearance more than her ability.
Meanwhile, she also had a breakdown in the latest trailer of the Bravo show after she admitted that she didn't have a dancer's physique. Additionally, Donie cried in the trailer and confessed that she was afraid to fail.
'Dancing Queens' will premiere on May 9, 2023, at 9/8c on Bravo and will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
