LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Al Pacino is "seriously worried" about stepping into fatherhood again as a new father at the age of 83 as he is in a "bad physical shape." Sources shared that the 'Godfather' legend has shunned his friends and family after he learned that his girlfriend Noor Alfallah, 29, was pregnant.
"Al’s always been shy and introverted, but now his reclusive nature has come home to roost," said an insider who added that among those whom he distanced included his ex-partner of nine years Lucila Sola. "He won’t see Lucila and others. He just doesn’t have the heart to socialize right now. He’s reeling over this," the source stated, reported Radar Online.
Al Pacino did not believe he could father a child at 83
Sources previously claimed the legendary thespian demanded a prenatal test after Alfallah told him about the pregnancy. Pacino who only considered her a casual companion did not expect that he could father a child at his age. The couple began dating during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 'Scarface' star is also worried whether his physical health will give him the ability to care for the newborn. "He’s seriously worried about how he’ll cope with the physical demands of it all. This is a guy who’s in bad physical condition. He’s supposed to be enjoying his twilight years, but things have taken a seriously chaotic turn. He’s freaked," said the source.
Pacino has a daughter named Julie, 33, with his first wife Jan Tratton, and twins Anton and Olivia, 22, with his ex-wife Beverly D'Angelo.
Pacino says the birth of his fourth child is 'special'
Despite being worried about how he will be able to care for the baby, another source recently revealed that Pacino is excited this time as he said that the birth of his fourth child is "special."
"It's very special. It always has been. I've got many children. But this is really special coming at this time," the 'Hangman' actor told a photographer during his stroll in Los Angeles. Pacino also shared that is not yet aware of the baby's gender and said that with the birth of his fourth child, he is excited to expand his family again.
An insider previously stated that though there is a 54-year age gap, Pacino and Alfallah are still very much "in love," and added that "She's wanted to have a baby for years and Al could not be happier. He loves Noor and the feeling is mutual," according to People.
