And to give a huge hurrah to Blake Shelton's departure, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is going to make his grand appearance on the show. Levine left the show after being in the panelists' seat for 16 successful years.
Levine departed from NBC's singing competition show in 2019 after claiming that he has been "constantly working for so many years." Now when Blake has also announced his departure from the show, Levine wanted to make a small gesture for his best buddy on the stage. Well, the appearance of Maroon 5 frontman will not only be a tribute to Blake but will also prove to be a benefit for him as well.

'Memories' singer will return to 'The Voice's stage in the final episode of Season 23. Levine will be seen performing 'Middle Ground,' the band's first new single in two years. The song will be out on May 19 and The Maroon 5 vocalist will debut it on the stage for the first time on May 23. Levine was part of NBC's reality singing competition show for 16 seasons. He left the show claiming his personal reasons. But in order to honor Blake's exit and his new song, Levine will return to the stage that gave him a lot.
Arriving on May 19, Levine is seen giving fans a sneak peek of the band's upcoming song by releasing a video of him singing. The singer asks fans to pre-save the date on his Instagram story.
Why did Adam Levine leave 'The Voice'?
Levine revealed the reason for his departure from 'The Voice' on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He claimed to have been working "constantly for so many years" and it was time for him to take a break from certain things in his life. Indeed, his decision to leave 'The Voice' was majorly based on him cutting back on extra work from his life. The singer claimed, "I was just constantly working for so many years. Very lucky, very fortunate, very blessed, and all that, but just to be able to stop at this moment to spend time with my new young family and just have the greatest time ever." Levine coming back on the stage after four years gap will bring back a lot of memories.
