Félix "xQc" Lengyel, one of the most well-known Twitch streamers, recently remarked while playing Dota 2 that the game has ‘soul’ but League of Legends does not. Dota 2, a renowned multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game created by Valve, has amassed a devoted following over time.
There has always been competition among many MOBAs, and League of Legends is one of the top rivals alongside Dota 2. Fans frequently compare these two games, and there is even a historical link because several of the original Dota devs are said to have moved on to build League of Legends.

‘Dota 2 has soul’
A recent Dota 2 live event included xQc, who praised the game and said that it has "soul." He made comparisons between Dota 2 and Riot Games' Titles, implying that the latter lacks the "soul" that Dota 2 has.
xQc stated, “This game (Dota 2) has a soul. You know I like Riot Games and I like their games but their games are soulless. They have no juice, they have no direction, it just exists, you know? Yeah I know there are lesser people who play this game but look, it's kinda nice (referring to the in-game graphics of the game).”

Along with xQc, several well-known variety streamers have also returned to Dota 2 after the release of the significant patch. Popular streamer Hans Eli Sebastian "Forsen" Fors, who has played the game before and came back for a brief while when patch 7.33 was published, is one of them.
Influential streamers returning to Dota 2 can boost the game's popularity since their broadcasts work as a sort of advertising, bringing in additional viewers and potential players to try out the updated Dota 2.
Fans of both games debate xQc's claim that Dota 2 has a soul and his comparison of the game to League of Legends. Following the most recent patch, streamers like Forsen returned to Dota 2, which increased the game's visibility and demonstrated its new features to a larger audience.
