LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' host Sunny Hostin was found traveling around Portugal a few days ago but exploring the beautiful country wasn't her only purpose for traveling. The lawyer was visiting her son Gabriel "Gabe" Hostin along with her husband Emmanuel.
Gabe rarely makes an appearance on his mother's social media pages, but Sunny decided to do a major photo dump from her trip with pictures of both her son and husband. The 21-year-old college student is currently in the European country for an internship.
Who is Gabriel 'Gabe' Hostin?
Gabriel aka Gabe is a student at Harvard. The 21-year-old is in his sophomore year, studying Psychology with a focus on wellness and business, according to his LinkedIn page. He is currently part of an internship program with iXperience in Lisbon, Portugal, for which he has now joined the medical equipment manufacturing company called Complear. It is quite a convenient space for him as he is fluent in Spanish, a language not far from Portuguese.
Gabe is quite the busy bee at Harvard as he, along with a friend, co-founded an organization called Ivy League Mentoring. It is "a nonprofit organization that connects mentors from the Ivy League to disadvantaged high school students," according to his page. He has also been hosting a podcast titled 'UnTextbooked: Our History Revisited' for the past three years which discusses topics of history in an unconventional manner. The podcast has been recognized by Apple and Spotify and given multiple awards.
Sunny Hostin's 'food for the soul' trip to Portugal
Sunny revealed in her Instagram post that she was out and about in the European country to visit her son. The 54-year-old talk show host shared six photos that included some solo shots of her son gearing up for surfing and having a good time on a cruise ship. Other photos also had some wholesome pictures of Sunny with her husband Emmanuel "Manny" Hostin.
The caption for the post read, "Manny and I had the most wonderful time visiting our boy in Portugal during his internship. He is happy and healthy. A Father’s Day well spent. Food for the soul."
