LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Christine Baumgartner and Kevin Costner, has been in the spotlight lately due to their messy divorce. Recently, pictures emerged of Christine enjoying a sun-kissed vacation in Hawaii with one of Kevin's close friends, Josh Connor.
The 'Yellowstone' star's ex-partner was seen walking along the beach with a smile, indicating that she was letting her hair down amid the ongoing divorce proceedings. In photos obtained by TMZ, Christine and Josh were seen enjoying an oceanside walk together. Christine was dressed in a purple maxi dress, complemented by white sandals and a stylish pair of sunglasses. She completed her look with a large white hat. Meanwhile, Josh was seen shirtless, donning only brown shorts and accessorizing with a cap and sunglasses. He casually carried a blue shirt in his hands, appearing relaxed and at ease during the beach outing. Christine was seen snapping some selfies with her 13-year-old daughter, Grace, who was dressed in a matching bikini.
Who is Josh Connor?
Josh Conner is a wealthy financier and friend of Kevin's who reportedly lives near his mansion in California. He was recently divorced and maintains a close friendship with the estranged couple. Despite the apparent enjoyment of each other's company, sources close to Christine have stated that there is "absolutely no romantic relationship" between her and Josh. Sources have clarified that "they have been good friends for years."
'It's about making Christine’s life a living hell'
Christine initiated the divorce proceedings from the 68-year-old actor in May, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their separation after 18 years of marriage. The separation has reportedly been tumultuous, with sources claiming that Kevin has expressed intentions of making Christine's life difficult. The former couple has been engaged in bitter disputes over various matters, including child support, their prenuptial agreement, and allegations made by Kevin that his estranged wife has taken substantial amounts of money and other assets without his knowledge.
"He wants to humiliate her," Christine’s close friend, who opted to remain anonymous, told the Daily Mail earlier in July. "This isn’t about the house, it’s about making Christine’s life a living hell for actually going through with the divorce." Earlier this month, a court ordered Kevin to pay Christine a monthly sum of $129,755 for child support, intended to support their three children. This amount is more than double the figure initially proposed by Kevin, which was $51,940 per month.
