LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Carley Shimkus is probably the most social co-host on the chat show 'Fox & Friends'. She shares pieces of her life on social media actively, may it be her outfit for the day or pictures of her adorable son who was born just this year.
Another important person in her life is her husband Peter Buchignani. The two have been together for around a whole decade and Shimkus does not fail to share snippets of their relationship every once in a while on her Instagram page. Here's all you need to know about the life partner of the 'Fox & Friends' host.
Who is Peter Buchignani?
Buchignani is originally from Bloomington, Illinois where he was born and brought up by his parents. He eventually moved out to attend university at Princeton where he graduated from with a Bachelor's in Political Science. He played on the college football and basketball teams during his time there as well.
Contrary to his education, he went on to pursue a career in sales. He worked as a sales analyst at Barclays Capital, not much after he was done with his studies. He later worked for the Mortage-Backed Securities department at Deutsche Bank. Buchignani is currently working for the Securitized Products Sales department at Amherst Pierpont Securities in Chicago, Illinois.
Peter Buchignani and Carley Shimkus
The couple first met each other back in 2013. Later, after two years of being together, they decided to tie the knot in 2015. It is clear if they are able to constantly live together since Buchignani's work is based in Chicago while Shimkus has to go for her 'Fox & Friends' filming in New York. But regardless, they clearly get to spend time together along with their little son according to Shimkus' Instagram page.
In February of 2023, the couple invited their first child Brock to the world. Shimkus shares special videos and photos of her son quite frequently and all her fans get to see the journey of growth of their son and family. In a post announcing the birth of her child, the host wrote in the caption, "Welcome to the world sweet Brock. You have unlocked a place in our hearts we didn’t even know we had. Your dad and I love you so much! Thank you @foxandfriends for the standing o! It may take me a little longer than Monday to get back. But i’ll be seeing everyone soon."
