LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: WWE superstar Jessica McKay, better known by her ring name Billie Kay, recently announced she was pregnant on her Instagram account. She shared a short clip with a still photograph of her sonography report.
Without mentioning the father, McKay captioned reel, “I’m waiting for your love.” The board focused in the video highlights the words, “Baby arriving December 2023." While her partner’s face was not seen, another man’s hand can be seen in the video placing the ultrasound picture. The man is presumed to be McKay's husband, who she has been married to for several years. However, she has never revealed the identity of her husband.
Who is Billy Kay’s husband?
While rumors once persisted that McKay was dating someone in the WWE, they were ultimately quashed by the star herself, when she revealed during an interview with Chris Van Vliet that she has been in a relationship with her current husband since the age of 19 and they have been married for several years. She told Vliet on his 'Insight' podcast that she got married before she even moved to the USA, “We have been together since we were 19 and we are 7 years married. We got married before I moved to America. So we literally got back from our honeymoon and I was like, OK bye, then I moved to America,” McKay said, adding, “He couldn’t move because he is on his separate work visa, so separate issues with immigration. We were apart for about 4 months before he came over,” as per Features of Wrestling.
In the same interview, the 2019 WWE Women's Tag Team champion opened up about the motive behind her decision to keep her relationship private. She said, “It’s so funny. I would have people that I have worked with and saw every week have no idea that I was married. It’s something that my husband and I decided very quickly that we were going to keep private."
McKay added, "He has his own career here, and I didn’t want to put him in the public eye. I was very private, I am private about my family too, I don’t post pictures of my family and I very rarely talk about them on social media. I feel like I am so protective of the people that I love. Let’s be honest, social media is a pain in the arse sometimes, I just want to protect them from that and be their shield. We made that decision and it was for the best, not many people knew [I was married] to be honest.”
