SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: 'Love Island USA' is all set to return for Season 5 with new singles joining the cast to see if they can find a love match. The upcoming season is sizzling for more reasons than just the summer heat as attractive singles gather to impress potential partners, ready to mingle and have some fun.
The series boasts a casual, fun, flirty vibe and pushes the envelope in the reality TV dating space. However, the viewers might be curious to know which castmates proved their love and survived beyond the lights and camera of the show and made it work in the real world.
Which couples are still together?
Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell
Isaiah and Sydney had the most tumultuous relationship of any of the season 4 pairs. Yet, they overcame all the ups and down and finished their time together on the island as runner-ups. Having professed their love to one another, Isaiah and Sydney may argue they were still winners in the end. However, the couple had many arguments and chaotic behaviour which initially made their relationship appear destined to fail. But it seems it's made them the strongest couple out of Love Island USA season 4. Notably, Isaiah and Sydney are still going strong and their social media platform suggests that they are happily in love.
Jesse Lamont Bray and Deb Chubb
Jesse and Deb's journey was never the spiciest throughout their relationship on television. No doubt, the two shared some lovely moments every now and then during the challenges, but they often lacked on-screen chemistry. Notably, Jesse and Deb's spark seemed to heat up and they wound up being one of the final three couples standing. But they decided to part ways just a few months after the show concluded its Season 4. On November 15, Deb took to her Instagram story and shared, "I just wanted to let you all know that Jesse and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways. We have decided that we work better as friends and will always have love and respect for each other."
Timmy Pandolfi and Zeta Morrison
Timmy and Zeta were the king and queen of 'Love Island USA' Season 4. Viewers can't get enough of their chemistry since the very beginning of their journey on the show. Even when Bria and Jeff arrived at the island threatening to derail Timmy and Zeta, the connection between the couple was too strong and they were selected as the winning couple. Unfortunately, months after the show wrapped, Timmy and Zeta decided to go their separate ways. Zeta noticed the red flags right after they won. She said Timmy never offered her a ride anywhere, even letting her walk home alone in downtown Los Angeles at 2 am.
Jeff Christian and Nadjha Day
Jeff and Nadjha's romantic flame burned out right before the final three couples were revealed. While Jeff and Nadjha were expecting to become finalists, their relationship took a major hit in the aftermath of the final group elimination. Although they broke up, viewers noticed Jeff and Nadjha expressed having mutual feelings for one another. Even after their breakup, the two posted a few pics together on social media following their time on the show. This led fans to believe that Jeff and Nadjha might have reconciled. But their expectations fizzled out as they are just friends. Notably, Nadjha actually has a new boyfriend.
Chad Robinson and Phoebe Siegel
Chad and Phoebe's romance fizzled out with some cringeworthy moments for viewers. Before Phoebe sparked the connection with Chad, she served as a major hurdle in Sydney and Isaiah's relationship, and she even tried to bypass friend Bella to connect with Chad. Meanwhile, Chad broke up with fan-favourite Courtney and ditched a blossoming romance with Mackenzie before connecting with Phoebe. After all the drama, the two finally got together but it seems like they weren't meant to be together. Phoebe confirmed on her social media that they decided to go their separate ways but remain on friendly terms.
Jared Hassim and Kat Rose
Among all the show couples on this list, Jared and Kat's onscreen time was the briefest. Soon after connecting with each other, Jared and Kat realised that they are made for each other and instantly packed their bags and exited the island. Notably, the couple announced that they were still dating since their departure from the competition during the reunion. Unfortunately, Jared and Kat's relationship was short-lived as Kat announced in September via an Instagram story that she and Jared decide to split to focus on themselves.
'Love Island USA' Season 5 is all set to premiere on Tuesday, July 18 at 6 pm ET on Peacock.
