UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: Wanda, one of the patients in the August 9 episode of 'Dr Pimple Popper,' has a curious mark on her side. She sought Dr Sandra Lee with the intention of finding a permanent remedy.
Dr Lee, the dermatologist famed for her proficiency in popping pimples in videos that have received millions of views on the internet, is back this week with yet another popping episode as season 9 of 'Dr Pimple Popper' continues to adorn TV screens this summer. It was challenging to open the door for the skin care information she specializes in for general audiences. Ten all-new episodes of the new season of 'Dr Pimple Popper', which premiered on TLC on June 21, "show more of a variety" of operations and ailments. 'Dr Pimple Popper', season 9, is now airing on TLC every Wednesday through August 23.
Who is Wanda on 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9?
Wanda revealed to the TLC cameras that portions of her skin had begun to crack. "It is very itchy," she explained. It felt like a rubber band wrapped around her waist, she said. "It is extremely painful."
Wanda's ailment began around 4.5–5 years ago. It was a little on the side when she first spotted it, but it was painful. It seemed to expand in size over the course of a month. She went to the doctor and was told she had adhesions. An adhesion is a ring of scar tissue that connects two normally distinct surfaces of the body. Scar tissue production is the body's response to tissue disruption caused by surgery, illness, injury (trauma), or radiation. Wanda underwent a total hysterectomy and two hernia procedures, but the tumor simply kept growing. That's why she couldn't believe she had adhesions and wanted to find out what was causing them from Dr Lee.

Wanda went to urgent care several times for the little scar on her side. Despite the fact that she was in excruciating pain, she did not contact her primary care physician or obtain a referral to a specialist. Because this was the first of the conditions covered on 'Dr Pimple Popper,' Dr Lee requested a biopsy.
Wanda was bombarded with cancer concerns, but it didn't make sense to Dr Lee. She was diagnosed with morphea once the biopsy results came back. She was relieved to learn that the issue was not caused by her previous surgeries. Wanda and her partner were overjoyed to discover this.
