AUSTIN, TEXAS: xQc has aroused anxiety among his fans after revealing his health problems and stating that he needs to see a doctor. Streaming for at least 10 hours per day, and sometimes up to 20 hours per day, has made him popular on Twitch. However, the streamer's numerous hours of grinding each day may be taking their toll, as the streaming celebrity has told his fans that he needs to see a doctor.
For a long time, the 27-year-old has ruled Twitch as its top streamer, with his channel being the most-watched on the Amazon-owned platform. With nearly 12 million Twitch followers prior to his shocking shift to the Stake-backed platform Kick, it's more than fair to say that xQc is one of the world's top broadcasters.
What happened to xQc?
xQc returned for a more serious discussion with his fans after playing his outro at the end of his Friday Kick stream before shutting down his show. The streamer informed supporters that he has discovered a problem with his shoulder and may require medical attention. “No joke, I’m going to stop stalling. I have to go to the doctor soon,” he remarked. xQc displayed an arm movement that causes his shoulder to click and remain in the same place. Juicer added, “My shoulder clicks in, and when I do it again it doesn’t, so it’s like in place right?”
xQc went on to explain that when he rests in a normal position, his shoulder eventually returns to its usual position. Although he said that there is some pain and discomfort when he moves it in a certain way. It's not uncommon to see streamers take a vacation from time to time, whether due to burnout, stress, injury, or simply to take a step back.
'Try stretching and exercising'
When xQc revealed his health problems, his followers became concerned and advised him to exercise. One person wrote, "Try stretching and exercising. Sitting at your computer malnourished is just gonna compound your body catabolizing itself and withering away. Your shoulder is a complex joint that requires mobility, not sitting on a computer in one position."
Another user added, "He needs a physiotherapist not a doctor most likely skelly needs to get some actual muscle and stretches."
A commentator said that xQc's shoulder problem is due to his sitting posture, "Its his posture, he has inflammation in his shoulders he needs to do exercises and fix his posture. Water would help to."
Many other admirers suggested that xQc must limit his streaming hours and change his eating and training practices. Others questioned if he would attend the charity match. The Sidemen Charity Match is one of the most important influencer-led events on the calendar each year. The 2023 iteration is poised to be the most attended yet, with the UK YouTube group booking London Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 fans, for September 9, 2023.
