LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Carmen Electra is in her 'Barbie' era as she posted a slew of images on her Instagram, and in all of the snaps, she is wearing pink. Clubbing a few new pictures with some throwback ones, the 'Baywatch' star posted an eclectic mix showing off her lithe figure and glamorous looks.
In the Instagram carousel, Electra donned several outfits where she could be seen wearing co-ord sets in different shades of pink. In some photos, she sports her signature frosted lips. Painting the town in pink, the former 'Playboy' model wore a two-piece pink outfit consisting of a slim-fit skirt and a bandeau top for the first snap of the post, which she posed for on her porch. However, before she posted the images, the 'American Vampire' star was seen on the same porch but in a somewhat different persona.
What happened to Carmen Electra?
Electra sparked concerns among fans as she was spotted make-up-free while sitting on the porch of her Los Angeles home, just a few hours before she posted the series of images on Instagram. While her going make-up free wasn’t that concerning as she looked radiant as ever, her expressions told a different story to some as they opined about the star appearing distraught. She was seen wearing a black Guns N' Roses T-shirt paired with camouflaged joggers and had her hair pulled back in a tousled ponytail. Electra appeared to be somber in the photos, as per Daily Mail. However, a source close to the 51-year-old model and actress confirmed to the news outlet that she "never once cried" and most definitely was not distressed. While Electra appeared to be holding her face with her hands and rubbing her eyes, the source claimed that the model had gone outside for two minutes and soon "realized it was super-hot," so she closed her eyes to be safe from the glaring sun.
The Internet also raised concern after her distraught look came out. One commented, "What a drastic decline." Someone else hypothesized it to be a "Bad hangover," while one expressed, "Kinda scary...."
'90s bombshells'
Electra recently posed for a sizzling photoshoot for a new SKIMS ad featuring her and another renowned model from the 90s, Jenny McCarthy. Kim Kardashian-led SKIMS released multiple promotional images and videos for their new line of bikinis. The post featuring them was captioned, "Everybody’s wearing SKIMS this summer! 90s bombshells @CarmenElectra & @JennyMcCarthy reunite in the sexiest swim under the sun." The two supermodels were seen rocking black bikinis in the photo shoot. Electra also went on to pose for different products of the SKIMS Swim line, including one-pieces and T-shirts.
