AUSTIN, TEXAS: After Alix Earle's 'Hot Mess' podcast, Travis Kelce's 'New Height' also surpassed Joe Rogan's $200 million audio program.
Joe Rogan's podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' topped the chart in the UK but it seems things are getting difficult for him in the US.
Travis Michael Kelce is a football tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, drafted in the 2013 NFL Draft.
He is considered one of the greatest tight ends of all time and holds the NFL record for most consecutive and overall seasons with 1,000 yards receiving by a tight end.
Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast leapfrogs Joe Rogan's 'JRE'
Over the past few weeks, the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has ignited the internet. When Taylor was in town for her Eras Tour, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs revealed that he attempted to gift her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.
Although his attempt to fire his shot was unsuccessful, it started a process. Swift's attendance at the home stadium to watch Kelce play was revealed prior to the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears on September 24.
Cameras were trained on Taylor as she sat and cheered with Travis' mother, Donna Kelce, while the Chiefs beat the Bears.
Swiftes became fixated on everything that was happening in an effort to determine whether the two were actually dating.
Well, on the 'New Heights' podcast, which Travis co-hosts with his brother, Jason, an Eagles player, on September 27, Travis let a little bit more air in, which attracted many listeners' attention, and caused the podcast to take over Joe Rogan's 'JRE'

When the brothers finally broached the subject that everyone had been waiting for, Travis stated, “Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up, that was pretty ballsy."
He continued, "I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her – the friends and family."
Further adding, "She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light, and on top of that, the day went perfectly for Chiefs fans.”
Naturally, the anticipation for that episode has caused the podcast to soar in popularity that it is now among Spotify's most popular. After its release, it quickly overtook 'JRE' and 'Call Her Daddy' podcasts in the US.
However, Alix Earle is still behind it. Travis did add that he wants to keep things a little private moving ahead, which is unfortunate for any Swifties who want to see future episodes.
“What’s real is that, you know, it is my personal life and I want to respect both of our personal lives," he said.
In terms of popularity, their podcast will probably drop back down the rankings a little bit, especially as fresh episodes of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' are made available.
The 'JRE' has already lost the top rank to Earle, but it won't take long for it to reclaim it.
