NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' hosts have a lot more going on behind the scenes than on camera, and while they might show love or disapproval for each other, their real relationships are hard to decipher. Recently, it is host Ana Navarro who has given quite ambiguous hints about what she truly thinks of her co-hosts.
On Monday, June 26, episode, Ana seemingly looked like she was unhappy with her co-hosts as she fumed over Sara Haines for merely pointing at her. It is also possible that Sara did the 'pointing' intentionally, and Ana successfully riled up as she decided to cut her off while she was talking.
Ana Navarro slams Sara Haines in awkward on-air moment
Ana was not ready to take any attacks on 'The View' panel as she decided to call out Sara abruptly while she was sharing her opinion. The conversation started with Whoopi Goldberg giving her take on punctuality and being late to any meeting or engagement. Sara went on to agree with her while also adding that she disapproves of having to wait for someone just because they are an important personality. "I think it is just a disrespect of people's time," she said, "We all know people who are late all the time, and it's so selfish."
While Sara was saying this, she was, as usual, gesticulating to emphasize her points. But Ana was not taking any of it as she raised her voice at Sara to say, "I don't like the way you are pointing at me, Sara!" Sunny Hostin, sitting next to Ana, seemed to agree with her as she said, "I know, and it's like coming in this direction."
Sara was quick to defend herself to brush off the awkward moment as she said, "I'm looking this way because I'm trying not to make it about Whoopi," who was sitting on her other side.
'It’s getting to work with people like Whoopi and Joy Behar'
It is not just Sara who has been subjected to Ana's snubs. In a TikTok, which consisted of the host answering fan questions, Ana gave some more insight into the behind-the-scenes. In it, she answered one particular question that was, "What's your favorite part of being a co-host?"
Ana's response can be thought of as an indirect hint for what could be the ongoing relationship dynamic between the co-hosts. While Ana only works on the show on Mondays and Fridays, she has interacted with all the hosts, Sara, Whoopi, Sunny, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin. But she went on to only mention two of them as she said, "Frankly, it’s getting to work with people like Whoopi and Joy Behar." The show host added that another thing she loves about being on the panel is “getting to hear different perspectives from people who are different ages, different parts of the country, different experiences growing up."
